  1. No reservations necessary for parking. I saw a few HC parking spaces in the garage, but the car in front of us at luggage drop-off had a handicap placard and I know the attendant directed them forward while we turned to go to the garage. I would check when you arrive to see if there are additional designated spaces for HC parking.
  2. We have also enjoyed the International Cafe. The coffee is good and they have a nice selection of small bites too. Mark had the egg sandwich this morning. They warm it up when you order and he said it was just the right size.
  3. Also. We received this list (2nd night’s in-cabin paperwork) of themes for the evening buffet. I am eyeballing that Pastry Extravaganza.
  4. Princess Patter Day 3 - Day at Sea We had to turn our clocks forward last night. Hoping that was in order to match ship time to island time. I have been unable to reach our tour operator in Martinique to verify our meeting time. Fingers crossed.
  5. Show in the theater was a vocal performance by Deli Rowe. She had a very powerful voice and did well. Songs included Respect by Aretha Franklin, I Wanna Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston, Rolling In the Deep by Adele, you get the idea. All very strong female vocals. I suggest stopping by a bar on the way to the theater if you’d like a drink for the show. Service is somewhat limited. Also the glasses are small and I find that annoying. Did they start using smaller glasses once the packages starting getting more popular? These glasses are about 5 inches tall.
  6. Desserts 😊 Mark said the New York style cheesecake was quite good. And I enjoyed the coconut crème brûlée. The little pastry sitting on top was weird and a little dry, but the brûlée was yummy.
  7. We are in Sabatini’s tonight. I was kind of regretting missing formal night in the MDR, but considering the points you just made, I think it might work out better for us. We’ll see!
  8. Started off with a Caesar salad again. No pic since it looked remarkably like the one from Night 1. But opted to try a small portion of the Fettuccine Alfredo since the pastas have all been nice. Than the herb-crusted strip loin. This was good, but it needed a little better knife than what they offer. It wasn’t tough, the knives were just dull.
  9. MDR menus 2nd night’s dinner Sorry about the phone shadow. Our table was in a little darker spot last night.
  10. Yes. Dinner lines were long for us too @schnapperin. Does one of the dining rooms provide “traditional dining” service? Or is it all Dine My Way?
  11. Here you go. These are the ones that are not sold out as of right now.
  12. We have a total of ten, but three are sold out (one of those was a “best of” highlights type tour that I signed up for the waitlist, but we never got it). There’s a 4x4 tour, kayaking in the mangroves, a beach day & botanical gardens, and a few other things. Just nothing really appealed to us. Of course, I know sometimes the descriptions are lacking. I’ll let you all know what we end up doing.
  13. Nothing about Death In Paradise that I’ve seen. Unless it sold out and I’m just not seeing it.
  14. Visited the port presentation today. We have a tour planned for St. Kitts, but nothing for Guadeloupe. I looked and looked, but nothing really appealed to me except one that was already sold out (of course). We’ll see what happens. We have another day at sea before we even have to think about excursions. I’m never more excited to do absolutely nothing than when I’m on a cruise. 😊
  15. One thing better about Princess vs. Royal Caribbean. The hallways are generally clear by 1:30-2:00 pm. There are carts out practically all day on RCL.
  16. This is the lunch menu for the MDR as posted in the app for today. Does it ever change? Or is it just a standard lunch menu for sea days. Seems like a pretty good selection.
  17. Sure! They usually post them outside of the entrance to the dining room, so for any night we don’t get to the MDR, I’ll still try to post the menu.
  18. Just wanted to let you know that I haven’t forgotten your request, I just haven’t seen anything yet. I will try to remember to ask. I’ve posted copies of the Patters and I haven’t seen anything there either.
  19. I’m pretty sure the carpet in the cabin is new. And I’ve seen areas throughout the ship where it looks to have been replaced as well.
  20. Saw an enrichment presentation at 1:00. It was kind of like watching a live version of the History Channel. IYKYK.
  21. Lunch and Dinner yesterday were in the MDR. We’ll eat there tonight too. Sabatini’s tomorrow night. Gotta try everything! You know for research purposes.
  22. If you are traveling with small children, I thought this was interesting to note. I watched as they sprayed and wiped down these high chairs and then covered the trays with plastic wrap. It might be the same on all the lines, but this is the first time I’ve noticed it.
  23. Lunch was in Cafe Caribe. Nice selection. CC seems slightly less hectic than Horizon Court, but I don’t really like the layout of either. I think it makes it feel even more crowded than it actually is. Mark started off with a salad. Then went back for heartier fare (I missed that pic). I was feeling peckish so I started off just getting a little of this and a little of that. It turned into quite a big plate of food! Everything was good except for the Salisbury steak pieces in the center. Very salty. The Chicken Chana Masala was pretty great though. And that griddled ham and cheese at the top was also nice. No room for dessert. Sigh. I’m going to have to work on my priorities.
