  1. No, I’m actually paying $618 to eat at the same two restaurants all week. Adventure has Johnny Rockets so I may get french fries once or twice. It is more than I would have wanted to pay under the circumstances, but that’s how much I do not like the dining room. I let my husband pick the ship this time. 😜 This is the only ship that is going to St. Croix right now and we used to live on St. Croix and thought it would be cool to go for a quick visit.
  2. The Adventure wanted 296.99 and it went down yesterday to like 261 I believe. The Adventure only has 3 restaurants (and it is so hard to get into Izumi). It is insane!! I paid 249.00 in April for the Wonder. I ended up getting it because I don’t care for the dining room atmosphere or food but I will be eating at 2 restaurants all week.
  3. No handrail. And classic snow from analog days is exactly what it looks like.
  4. On Wonder of the Seas right now in a virtual balcony, Can anyone who has been in one (other ships included) tell me if they are supposed to have a picture at night? I know it will be dark but I was under the impression that they would have an image at night also. Ours is just β€œsnow” like when there is feed interruption. I reported it an IT said that was normal which does not seem normal lol. TIA
  5. WOW!! I just had the biggest DUH moment. I am taking cruise number 29 in a few weeks and have always used magnets for paperwork etc. and never thought about using them in the shower!! I always used shower curtain hooks to hang my little organizer but that puts in under the stream of water. Thanks for pointing out what should have been very obvious to me lol!
  6. We were on Harmony in September and Jaime's was open on embarkation day. It was so nice to go and sit down in a quiet, cool place and be away from all the fluttering of 1st day excitement. I love Sabor but it is outside and I am still lugging around my carry ons and in "clothes" so I am hot. So if you want to start off the cruise relaxed I suggest Jaime's for lunch!
  7. Well I booked a 7 night on Wonder with a virtual balcony (so interior) for April (off season) and it was 3500.00 with grats & taxes. Another almost 2000.00 for UPD, DDP and internet! And I had the same itinerary last September on Harmony and paid 1650.00 so I definitely see what the OP is saying.
  8. That is exactly what I said yesterday. Get the cash quickly and worry about the fall out in a few days. It is the best explanation for this fiasco as far as I am concerned.
  9. Well, thank goodness for the National Margarita Day "sale"πŸ˜…. I now will get get to pay what I would have paid a couple of days ago again.😜.
  10. Well I just posted asking how high can it go! 🀣 Well, I guess at least 85.99.
  11. I booked a cruise 2 months out and since I had also booked multiple other items I decided to wait on the UBP since it was the highest I have ever seen it at 77.99 per day and I figured I would purchase it a little closer to sail date since why does Royal need ALL of my money so far in advance. Well now it is 82.99 per day (Geez, where is the Prez Day Sale??). Is it capable of going even higher?? And, if you book packages, how are you guys finding out if the price lowers because will it actually show the lower price since you have already purchased??
  12. I got that message also but I don’t currently even have a cruise booked. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  13. I thought it used to be a la carte, hate that it has changed. I have the UDP so it doesn't matter because I would have hated to miss my daily guac and chips!!
  14. Ok thanks! I don't need to be in the cabin but dropping off luggage was always what I considered the best perk!!
  15. Question..... I have been Platinum for over a decade but haven't sailed Carnival in over 5 or 6 years and you stated Priority embarkation is gone so I am inquiring about cabins being accessible as soon as getting on the ship. Is that a thing of the past also? Those two things are all I used of my Platinum benefits. Was looking at possibly booking a Carnival cruise because RCCL is slow rolling with their Covid updates but reading about all these cutbacks and possibly no Platinum perks doesn't sound real appealing now.
