On the Caribbean Princess, we ate at both Planks and Steamers. Loved them both! We are on the Majestic in November and I was disappointed to read they only have a pizza place and Sushi lunch (hubby wouldn’t do that one).

On our last Princess cruise 9/2023, my husband and I challenged each other to a stairs only cruise, and hitting the gym or track most days. The delicious drinks are my downfall, but at least I don’t feel so guilty trying several a day when I’m active. We did “cheat” and use the elevators during disembarking though, because we had luggage. I did a Pilates class in the gym - it was pretty short and easy. Also the free Zumba class was fun but too crowded.

I Purchased 5 cards tonight at 5:30 pm from AARP and still no emails received, although the money has come out of my bank account. Does it sometimes take overnight to show up in your email, since I ordered them after 5:00? I’m hoping that is why I haven’t received them yet. First timer getting these, and thought they’d show up right away.

For whatever reason, they changed my husband’s member # since our last Princess cruise in September 2023. I guess I just figured you kept the same one. Mine is the same, so I thought his would be too (maybe because I do all the bookings and he never logs in?). Anyway, they verified that he is still Platinum so I guess that’s all that matters.

Just called and they fixed the issue. Thank you everyone for the suggestions. I really wish that Princess had a USA help number though, where you could understand the rep better and without all the background noise. I had to keep asking the young man to repeat himself. I think it’s time to find a TA! 🤣

When looking at my Travel Summary, I am listed as Platinum for Circle Status, and my husband (who I’ve done every cruise with) is listed as BLUE. He should be Platinum…not sure what Blue is? Worth calling about? Thank you.

I did the same thing today - cancelled a booking and rebooked same cabin to get the OBC. The only part is that I have to wait 10-15 business days to get my original deposit back. You would think they could just add the OBC to your booking if you haven’t made final payment.🤷🏼‍♀️

We have sailed both more than once. Since no one else has mentioned this, Princess has laundry facilities, which is a huge plus for those of us who travel light. (Carryon luggage or 1 smaller checked bag). On Celebrity last year, I had to wash things out in our sink to avoid crazy high fees to have it done for us. Not a deal breaker, but it’s nice to have that option on Princess. We are sailing on Princess Aug. 30th and are looking forward to many ports we haven’t been to in New England and Canada. Pluses for Celebrity, is that we had a couch in our regular balcony room. It was nice to have a place to sit besides the bed and one chair (Princess regular balcony room). We thought the buffet food was really good on Celebrity and we ate there quite often. Staff was VERY friendly and all said hello in the hallways. We used the gym on sea days but wish classes were included or not so expensive. Also used the walking track most days and I’m hoping I can do the same on the Promenade deck on Princess.

We just signed up to cruise on the Silhouette Nov. 7th and the only dining time left is 8:30, which is too late for us, so we plan to eat meals in the buffet. My question is, can I get salmon, shrimp, and other seafood at the buffet? Also, can my husband get a thick steak at the buffet? We ate many meals in the buffet 3 years ago, but I really can’t remember. (I watched a Utube video that showed seafood in the newer Celebrity ships dinner buffets, but didn’t know if Solstice ships were the same) Thanks!
