  1. We are booked with another couple on the 5/18/24 9 night cruise on the Beyond. There is one excursion in Naples that we're interested in, the "Small Group: Exclusive Tour of Italy's Amalfi Coast" that is labeled as activity level "Strenuous". One member of our party has some mobility issues and would like to do this excursion but is worried about what part of this is strenuous. Is it just a lot of walking or are we talking about having to climb tons of steps. Any insight on this would be helpful. Thanks in advance
  2. I had book guarantee CS on the Millennium for an August 2022 Alaska Cruise. All of the CS suites were sold/not showing available when I did that and a few weeks later, which was over 8 months before our cruise, I was assigned a RS. Really got lucky on that booking. So, IMHO, the time frame where you can get your room assignment can be all over the place.
  3. I'm on a vacation, the most they'll get from me is a dress shirt and slacks and a tie.
  4. Why not bring up to the hotel director if their staff isn't following through on the procedure. It's the old if they don't know about it they can't fix it line.
  5. Doesn't Celerity already have a card that they'll put on a chair that they feel is unattended and if it's still there in 30 minutes they send the stuff to lost and found? Or at least they're supposed to be doing that I thought.
  6. Totally agree about the RS balcony, a total miss on the design.
  7. Then I strongly recommend that you never go visit Walt Disney World.
  8. I've been on the Apex and the Allure of the Seas. I guess my simplest comparison would be the Edge Class is like a high class hotel/resort while the Allure was more like a hotel attached to an amusement park.
  9. MSC has decided to expand to Galveston, https://www.travelandleisure.com/msc-cruises-homeport-galveston-texas-6979594. I agree with the current limit of destinations they can reach maybe they just need to add a couple US ports to a cruise to change things up. But as another TX resident (Austin) it's nice to be able to jump in the car and 3.5/4 hours drive get on the ship.
  10. How about your stateroom keys will be handed out at the checkin for your muster station?
  11. Please see the prior post. Thanks
  12. OK, I found the section on pre-existing conditions, which is for things that you had prior to the initial deposit date or booking date of the trip. I can live with that since I have no pre-existing conditions that would cause me to cancel any of our current trips which we have booked. Now if I had congestive heart failure then maybe I'd be looking for something better, but since I don't I can live with this limitation. As for the Medicare supplement I know it only covers $50,000, and I can live with that amount. Yes I know you can buy coverages that have higher benefit amounts but as with all insurance you're gambling, do I pay X dollars thinking that I'll need a payout or based on past experience it's not necessary. Based on my past experiance it hasn't been necessary. So for me the basic coverage provide my the Chase card fills my needs.
  13. I double checked the coverage I get with my Chase Reserve card and there is no mention of pre-existing conditions exclusion.Coverage does include your spouse and any children under 19 or if enrolled in a full time school it's 26 years. Their medical/dental coverage is only $2,500 but my Medicare plan N supplemental does provide international coverage benefits so I can live with that amount.
  14. Got off The Allure last week. Service was OK but really didn't seem much better then their old provider. Speed tests were all over the place but I will say the upload speeds were better than I was expecting. I did speed tests, 14.2/9.41, 3.23/0.08, 4.25/7.87, 6.36/8.66, as i said speeds all over the place.
  15. I've used 3rd party travel insurance in the past, never had to file claim so don't know how the service would be. For upcoming trips I'm going to try to go with the coverage provided by one of my credit cards.
  16. Same go for Danny saying they’ll unpack and pack for you. Once said I wanted our host to pack and got a you kidding look, which I was.
  17. I’m still finding them from an August cruise.
  18. How many times must that same exact link be posted in a row?
  19. https://www.rclinvestor.com/contact-us/faqs/shareholder-benefit/
  20. Submitted two on Thursday, one for a 9/2023 sailing and the other for a 5/2024 sailing, both approved and added to the account on Friday.
  21. We ate a few different means in Luminae from the MDR menu. We mentioned one night we might eat in the MDR and the Luminae waiter said you don’t want to do that, just stay here.
  22. We have a grand suite on a cruise in 3 weeks. When are they supposed to be contacting us?
  23. Didn't know they're not filling the ships yet. I know a RCCL cruise next month from Galveston on the Allure is sold out except for a few staterooms.
  24. Disney has raised the base ticket prices, hotel prices, food prices, and started charging for many things that used to be free and the parks are jammed full of people. They've alway figured that they will just keep raising prices until folks stop coming, which hasn't happened yet.
