As in 'we've already got a Quantum class' here so basically the same facilities

as I mentioned above ... I prefer Oasis and Freedom class of ships so, yes, it's not great news for us but within the UK we're not fortunate enough to have any choice

Hopefully sooner rather than later ... we're not fans at all. Much prefer the open space of Oasis class and even having an ice rink on Freedom ... hubby calls it Butlins Afloat 🤣

You should be aware that there are train strikes in the UK that weekend which may affect your travel to London ... National Express coaches are an alternative if you are stuck ... hope all goes well and you have a great trip !

For me, the main benefit is being able to open cabin door when your hands are full! The similar tech used by Princess is far superior ...

No problems for us ... other than the fact that their IT systems are archaic and need a total overhaul ... have done for years !

Traditional pregnancy tips like sipping ginger ale and eating anything containing ginger will help with the nausea ... and ginger ale from the freestyle machines is a lot better than the cola !

Back on her in 4 weeks ... are they still no longer leaving Freestyle cups in the cabin? Last year, it was utter chaos having to wait in a queue (and I use that term very loosely) to collect one - once we eventually realised that's what we had to do - after we'd asked the cabin steward where they were ...

We always take our own toiletries .... way too many of them ... and then leave them all sitting in the sink when we leave. The CA can then dump them all or save them - we need the luggage space to get home !

Don't be afraid of sitting with strangers - you will all be in the same boat - literally ! It's only for a meal, not to be joined at the hip for your entire vacation. And if you feel you don't have anything to talk about - just order extra food and you'll not be able to talk 😁 If you don't enjoy it, don't go back ... no harm done. Then again, you may meet some really nice people that'll you'll enjoy chatting to. Whatever you do, have a great trip x

Royal couldn't care less ... we pay for food in our bookings ... then we buy the UDP because the food isn't great in MDR & Windjammer ... that means they can offer poorer quality food in reduced amounts whilst they laugh all the way to the bank ! We need to stop feeding the troll ...

There needs to be better definition between Single and Solo Travellers - personally, I'm happy to chat to anyone from 19-90. I'm not looking for a husband (have had mine for 41 years but he's not a fan of cruising) .. I'm not looking for new friends to tag along with ... but it can be a nice way to meet other people and pass some time.

always an ocean view balcony - I refuse to pay crazy prices for little more than what these already offer. We book them for the fresh air, nothing more😊
