  1. SO jealous! I LOVE the Bliss - well the Haven especially and all of the staff. Just got off her In April. We just did the Pacific Coast so I can't help Alaska...we did enjoy San Francisco and the Canadian ports 🙂

    Have a blast!

I should add that I am cruising to Italy and Greece so for my birthday in 50 days so I'll be ok lol!

  2. I always order ahead. On my last cruise I think it was a few dollars cheaper to preorder, but I pre-order because I love water and on that 1st day there's a lot of stuff do and I want water in the room while I unpack and change, etc.. Last cruise we were in the Haven the Butler filled a large pitcher of ice water for us twice a day. We won't be in the Haven this time so I'll preorder some and then we'll fill our giant water bottles to use less waste.

  3. This happened to me for my April cruise and I kept calling and being told to wait until one day a rep said there was a problem and give her an hour to fix it and she'd email my docs. She did. Call again and insist it's a glitch if you know it's correct. In my case it said completed and I have cruised enough times to know it was on their end.

  4. I am wondering how, or if this will impact my cruise. We are booked from 9/2-9/12 and have not received a cancellation letter. According to the letter in this thread and multiple news articles, she is going into dry dock on 9/8? Or She is not available to book after 9/8? If so, why didn't they say the actual date she'd go to dry dock instead of picking a date in the middle of a cruise not yet canceled lol?

Have read of ongoing issues since the last repair and am concerned we might not get canceled now but that it may happen closer to the sail date.

Considering we're in the US, this cut-off is too close for comfort I think if we were to get canceled right before the sail date. Obviously, I can't control it.... just sharing out loud I guess.

I understand the issue and would be disappointed, but I would rather know now. I will call NCL tomorrow when they open but as of right now my cruise shows active and available to book.

I am sorry for everyone who has been canceled. Although I have cruised many times, about 15 years ago I said this is what I wanted to do for my milestone birthday, and i feel we'll be canceled, so I understand the disappointment

  5. The Bliss, but I really enjoyed the Breakaway a few years ago. The Bliss hands down though, so pretty and nicely appointed and awesome viewing areas. I was in the Haven though sooo.... but I did enjoy the rest of the ship as well.

Glad to hear the Escape is liked, I am on her in September for a birthday cruise to Greece and Italy. Seems like she's due for a drydock though....

  6. I have not been on the Joy, but the Haven on the Bliss in April was beyond amazing for us.

Beautiful Haven indoor observation lounge (2 stories) and the pool area was large and well appointed. Really nice Haven upper deck with viewing seats up high with a bar to  Service was impeccable in the bar and the restaurant. Our butler was the best ever, but he gets off in a few days for some time at home 🙂 We had a penthouse suite and really enjoyed the separate living room area from the bedroom, not a huge balcony but could fit a few people with chairs and a table just fine.

  7. I hope it's back to being a true live band on the Escape when I sail her this September. This was my favorite place on the Breakaway pre-covid. We just sailed the Bliss and they hav ethe British version, but it closed the whole cruise (pretty sure it was covid) and was open before we cruised and about 2 weeks after.

  8. My daughter and I sailed on the Bliss Mid April in the Haven and fortunately we did not get sick. The ship had only about 1200 people on board, and being in the Haven and enjoying our suite gave us plenty of room. Unfortunately all of our entertainment was cancelled for that cruise, including the Pour House lounge (the British one- not sure if that's the name).. I believe the entertainment staff had covid but I don't know for sure, so we weren't in close proximity to anyone for anything. Oh we did go to the comedy shows - they did have those. But we had room away from others since the cruise was low capacity. Looks like since, all of the shows returned about 2 weeks after.

Our cruise is in less than 30 days.

    Seattle to Alaska / Bliss
Just booked and trying to book restaurants.

when I add to cart , cart shows 1 item. When I go to payment, cart zeroed out and shows nothing.

Very frustrating . May end up calling to get agent assistance.

Exactly my issue, phone was disconnected after holding for over an hour.

Hi, I am hoping so I've can help with this question, NCL directly has given different answers to  this question . I don't not have a PVP but going to ask for one when I find so I've helpful.

I accepted the beverage promo and paid gratuities on the included basic alcohol package. I will sign the waiver allowing my 19 year old daughter to have wine (or beer but she won't drink that).
I wanted to also pay her gratuities for her package as she is the 2nd passenger but that it would be an increased rate, I was supposed to be emailed the rate once the rep found the information. Never received it.

called back, was told she won't receive the package (which annoys me since it allows for the 1st 2 passengers) and only pay gratuities but that I need to purchase an entire new package for her plus gratuities and the price would be determined on board.

called back about something else and decided to ask again. She will not be eligible for any packages and we can buy her drinks full price in Board. can I do that! Of course, and we are talking maybe $100 for the glass at dinners and maybe a Mimosas or two, she isn't going to drink much. But I feel her drinks should be included, she is of age in her country and technically tge package is included and she is able to drink legally at 19 on board.

What I think is irrelevant, I just want the true answer to the question lol.

    Anyone experience this?

    Thank you!

I guess I passed the edit time to ask more specifically what I wanted to ask. I no longer need help,  but of course feel free to be helpful or bash away.
    Have  a great night.

I am also looking for a rental or service that will drive us other than a bus which could take a long time at customs. So far there are no one way rentals from Vancouver to Seattle for overnight. One must rent for two days for a price of $600. Very frustrated. Flights from Vancouver are all connecting..

I almost took a car service that has e Celine t reviews for roughly $200 USD including all fees, gas etc and 18% gratuity. .  I have never used them but could DM the info if you like. Their correspondence was professional even when I cancelled my cooking.

  13. Thank you so much for your answers. I knew I didn't want to rent a car and I did check other options, in the end I booked a new flight for double to fly out of Vancouver to my home airport in 3 1/2 hours travel time.
mount origibal flight ( albeit super cheap) was almost 6 bites with the layover please adding a few hours to travel in WA deal with possible border waits as well. We would have traveled 730am-630pm, now it's 1050a-225pm.

I have a travel credit for our original flights.

  14. 1045 with my 1st drink in hand at the Havana bar 😃

Last month were in line at 1pm for our 130 appt time which was met by the time we got to the area where they checked and we’re on 230ish.

Hoping I get an earlier time next month, especially with earlier flights.

Fyi - just a hold member so no special boarding privileges …

Since I won’t be in hot humidity - which l hate - only tolerate for beautiful beaches and cold drinks- it’s not a big deal to us, I don’t stress. Ideally I like to be able to eat at the Italian place that is not crowded  day one,  but they close at 230.
