I just spent the better part of forty five minutes trying to get switched over from one phone to the other... At one point beating the phone against the wall... This is the very reason that I've chosen to not do these reviews anymore... I'm ready to give up right now due to these issues, but I'm going to try and go on... I'm so damn angry right now that I might not be able to eat...

Ok well you had said you planned to relax more and enjoy the cruisin…. I won’t lie, it’s a blast cruising along with your live review, but not at the expense of enjoying your trip. Do whatever works from you, we’ll be ready to read it whenever you post 😉

Now back to your cheers drinks and our regularly scheduled mostly inappropriate comments 😂

I was under the impression that Alchemy didn't open till 5, but it's a sea day... Classic Cadillac Margarita on the way...

I think it’s 2pm on a sea day ? I know it was surprisingly early last month and when I found out I chose to have afternoon cocktails there instead of later when it gets crazy. Somewhere else for prime time, back to alchemy for awhile before they close 😉

According to what I could find out, the classes are only available on the Mardi Gras and the Panorama.  On the MG, there are 10 different classes, with 8 of them available once per sailing and two of them (pasta or cupcakes) available twice.  On sea days the times are 10-12-3 and on port days it's 1 class at 1130.  The other 8 classes are cake decorating, sushi, pie baking, tailgating, ice cream making, pit grilling, pizza, & brunch.   We have a B2B reserved for February and the only class fully booked at this time is the pit grill class on 2/10 @ 12.

The pasta, sushi, pie, and put grill seem to book the fastest from what I see. We prebooked and there was a lot open but most sold out day one on board - all those that had lots of OBC I’d guess. We didn’t have any so went ahead and booked. For our NYE cruise the pie and sushi are sold out so far.

I ate my lobster in chibang! In case you aren’t aware, the thing about that is you can have your MDR lobster plate and try some of the appetizers from the restaurant you’re in. I think I had pot stickers. And I had their crème brulee which is better than the MDR creme brulee but they call it something different.

I had no idea! On any ship? Or just Marci Gras. I’m a vegetarian but the daughter loves seafood now that she can eat it again.

Still haven't seen anything going on in the big atrium or whatever they call it here...

I am loving that atrium with the giant subdued with sea views! I’m claustrophobic so I like the open feeling I get just looking at it 😃

Just got a message from my driver in Cozumel about my tour tomorrow... I haven't been there since February of 2019, and I've got A LOT of catching up to do...

Take care of yourself in Cozumel ❤️ I have followed your story and her story and what Cozumel means to you. I’ll be thinking of you and praying this is whatever you need it to be.

I'm a little rusty on carnival site now but I didn't create a new password. I was getting close to free laundry when I left for free beverages on NCL.

    The right choice!

Same 😂 free drinks and good food.

I struggle hard with carnival food.

But then got these insane deals, $130 for a high deck balcony on the Panorama 7 day where I could fly to close port on miles?
    Done!

and just enter your cruise dates online and they’ll add them to your history.

My daughter and I took the pie class last month on the Panorama and it was a blast! Well organized and fun. They delivered our pies to us at the Italian restaurant for dessert. They will deliver them to any restaurant for dessert or you can pick them up and take them your cabin. They serve them on a plate but box them up as well.

I’m adding some pics. They of course had a photographer come around but we had our masks on so I didn’t buy them.

The funny part is - I don’t like pie and had never made one 😂 Mom, years of cooking and baking 😂 My kids like them though and it was so thing my daughter and I could do together.

They email you the recipe right after the cruise and give you a terrible spatula that falls apart lol.

We enjoyed it so much like the poster above, that we are taking the pasta class for NYE cruise back on the Panorama. We won’t take a spatula this time though, less to add to the landfill.

We gave away my pie (who needs 2 pies?) and my daughter had some of hers. Everyone says they were good. I don’t like apple pie or most other pies so idk 😂

Let us know if take a class 😃

Check out Emeril's Bistro!  We had the Pain Perdue, Bananas Foster Crepe for breakfast and then a muffuletta sandwich for lunch.  Wish we would have gone there for dinner instead of ChiBangs.  So tasty!!

I concur about Rikki Tiki Tavern in Cocoa Beach Pier.  Awesome way to start a cruise out of Port Canaveral!

    Thanks for the great review!!

     Bananas fosters crepes??!!!
damn - I’m not booked on the MG until September 2033 😞

    lol….

But when the lights are out all kinds of hanky-panky goes on in the comedy club...

not when I was on the Panorama in October. I couldn’t even leave my mask off long enough to take a breath in between sips. I had to “sip and cover”. In the regular shows and comedy clubs, buffet, embarkation and debarkation- they were very strict! I understood most of it - safety- I work in a hospital, but I did feel like it infringed on me enjoying my drinks in those areas. But I knew those were the rules.

so so throughout the ship halls and obviously no issue being outside in the loungers.

I have lung issues since covid and so I struggle hard with the mask but also know that’s why I hopefully don’t get covid again.

  12. You are famous with Alchemy bartenders 😀

So! I keep forgetting to post this… but since I got on the Panorama the day you got off, I mentioned you at Alchemy.
I was talking with the female bartender, shoot now I suddenly forget you name, Nikola?
I had a few cocktails in me And I said, “I heard you took great care of my friend Greg last week”.
She stops what she is doing, looks at me abs has a HUGE grin on her face and says “I know Greg!”

then she calls if the male bartender as I’m trying to explain that I only “know you” from the cruisn’ interwebs 😂

Anywsy they both clearly enjoyed making your drinks. I played by the rules and didn’t ask what you looked like 😉

  13. I just grabbed a drink and I’m ready 😀

I love the vista! Had a Havana cabin there idk 3 years ago? 4?

loved the Havana area, cruisers, the itinerary, all of it - it was my first time being on whst eas at the time one of carnivals bigger ships.

I met an amazing group of friends, as did my daughter and we are still in contact!

There are some on this board that I’d love to cruise with - even if I can’t share their pictures lol! Including @Saint Greg Patti and @Jamman54 Sid, Kim, so many! We need a cruise critic cruise 😀
