  1. I hope your husband has a positive result from the procedure and good health going forward.

As the other posters have mentioned, try your credit card company to see about any health cancellation coverage and of course try Celebrity , maybe the Captains club extension, it is worth a try , possibly for a future booking transfer or such.

All The Best 🍀 going forward.

I agree with those who say the cruise director is easy to spot, always making announcements, introducing shows, hosting the morning talks...  Sometimes I wish they were less visible.  We had A CD on one cruise that was quite solemn.  Maybe she was having a bad week, never seemed excited or happy about anything.

Things usually look easier when someone else is doing it.

I agree with you, the cruise directors do a great job for the most part, I am sure their duties involve much more than what we as paying passengers witness.

    @horseymike, check the daily planner.

We noticed Bingo on the last Sea Day . I’m not not sure if there were other days.

    Played in the Eq Theatre.
We didn’t win but it was great fun for the entire family. I hope it’s making its return.

Thanks Dock. Glad to hear it. 😁

    Me too @Georgia_Peaches lol.

We also take family pics while on a cruise so I need my hair done for the pics lol.

Over the last , almost 3 decades now we’ve taken pics and it’s great to see how the kids and now grandkids change from year to year.

These pics are also how we found out that it was time for my DH to invest in new ties.

He had been using the same 4 ties in rotation for about 10-12 yrs lol.

    Hi Dock,

I know this is a different topic , did you happen to notice if there was Bingo available on your cruise ?

    (My wife likes Bingo 😁)

Thanks for your informative review .

Departing for Alaska on the Solstice in two weeks, and I was excited to get what I thought was a move-up offer email. Instead, it's the opposite.

We're writing to let you know that, due to a rare inventory error, your scheduled sailing is currently oversold in certain stateroom categories.
If you would be willing to volunteer to move to a different stateroom type, you may be able to take advantage of a special resolution offer.

The offer is a move from Veranda stateroom to Veranda stateroom with obstructed view for a $500 refund. Since this is our first trip to Alaska, we've decided to keep our original stateroom.

    What would you do?

I would do what you did. Keep your original stateroom.

Hope you have a great cruise 🚢 .

Thanks! There is a line on our invoice stating "service charges for dining and room attendants included". Is that it? Sorry, we do not know what exactly gratuities means. In Australia tipping is not compulsory and not expected.

Hope you have a great cruise mate , cheers 🍻

If you have OBC left at the end of your cruise, will they automatically use it to cover any costs you accrued on-board?  Or do you have to go to Guest Relations to tell them to apply the OBC?

    Automatically
