  1. Just got off the Equinox of a great cruise with one exception. We had 6:00 pm dining time reserved for 2 for the entire cruise. After boarding we headed to the dining room to confirm our reservation with the Maitre D , we were informed we had been assigned to a large table at the 8:30 seating . Needless to say we asked the Maitre D to please help us resolve this situation, his reply was to come every night at 6:15 and he would see what he could do. After 2 nights we were assigned a table for two for the rest of the cruise. That all said , does anyone know how you can secure your reservation in advance to avoid all this confusion ? Just a side note , this booking was completed several months prior to sailing.
  2. Hi Everyone, I have never booked a future cruise onboard to this point , but I have my eye on a cruise several months away. That said we will be boarding a cruise tomorrow on The Equinox, would you folks please refresh me on the pros and cons of booking onboard at the future cruise department ? Thanks
  3. You Fire Emt folks have a great reputation for your culinary talent , believe it or not that is hard to duplicate when feeding thousands of people at the same time , A sincere thanks for the service you provide to the community. Hope the food is better for you on future cruises 🚢.
  4. If the eggs are important to you go later. You have a choice.
  5. Hi Terry, Just going to miss you by 1 week. We are disembarking the Equinox on June 4th. Hope you have a great cruise 🚢.
  6. The app also works on an iPad if you have one.
  7. April cruise on Summit , hot tubs not working, water was warm , no jets.
  8. Overall we like the calmer experience that Celebrity provides. Have done a few NCL cruises and they were good , especially the Pride of America cruise of the Hawaiian Islands, they have an exclusive on that itinerary. Sailed the Getaway from Miami once , a bit loud for us. I guess you will know better if you do a Celebrity cruise to compare. One tip about Celebrity, the Edge class ships seem to really cater to those who book suites with regard to public areas onboard. The S and M class are more accommodating to the entire passenger population in that department. Hope all goes well 🚢 for you.
  9. Welcome to Celebrity. Hope you have a great cruise 🚢.
  10. I have found the entertainment much like the buffet , somethings we enjoy more than others. With that said , on a 4 night Summit Cruise in late April of 2023, There was a lady who sang the hits of some of the All Time Great female artists, her name was Gen Maldonado. We thoroughly enjoyed her performance. Hope you have a great cruise 🛳️
  11. I have kept my Seapass from a previous cruise. " Classic" is on the Seapass. That was my status at that time.
  12. I think air travel may have something to do with the Alaska debacle this year.
  13. If other family members or friends want to go on this cruise , they may wish to get what they can cabin wise and hope for an upgrade. Hope it all goes well for a great cruise 🚢
  14. Not at all silly. Hope you have a great cruise 🚢
  15. If that is New England/ Canada itinerary I am jealous. We did it a few years ago and had a great time. Hope you have a great cruise. 🚢
  16. They also have a shore side location just before the entrance to port Everglades . There is a red and yellow sign with 2 Golden Arches on the top . 🤣 Have a great cruise.🚢
  17. The experience on NCL vs. Celebrity will be for you to decide which works best for you and your husband. Hope you have a great cruise 🚢 . Bon Voyage.
  18. You make a good point. Maybe they are investing in the areas where they are making the highest returns . Being partial to Celebrity over RCCL , I totally agree with your assessment. We enjoy a calmer more refined product as opposed to water slides , loud thumping music etc….
  19. if I wanted to take advantage of the elite HH I would reshcudule my dining time. Bon Voyage.
