  1. While my husband and I like to dress up for chic nights what others wear does not make a difference to me. What does matter is that people are kind and enjoying themselves. I much rather spend time with a nice young couple that isn’t compiling what you think is appropriate dress than the loud drunk boar in a Tuxedo. We’ve been through many of life’s challenges lately and just excited to be on a cruise.

Totally agree each to their own. My opening post wasn't meant as a complaint merely an observation and I now possess 2 lovely Tommy Bahama shirts which will be coming with me, with possibly others, on the Millenium in Feb!

  2. Flight rather than Cruise boarding a flight to Vegas there was blockage directly in front of us at top of steps. I was loudly moaning when the bodies parted to reveal Donny osmond being fussed over by the stewardesses and my wife commenting that 40 years earlier I'd have been trampled to dust!

  3. Geez guys and girls sorry didn’t mean to start a bun fight! I was just honestly surprised by the number being worn some were fabulous some less so in my eyes but that’s my choice and I wouldn’t put that choice on anyone else (and yes I’ve just found a fab Tommy Bahama shirt). As I said did I miss the memo as I’d happily and will be joining in!

I’m a Brit like formal and wear a tux on “chic nights” my choice, others absolutely entitled to theirs.

Whilst it was a Baltic cruise we did have 30deg weather so that’s not an issue.

  4. This is a habit of ours. Two years ago walking through Ocean View on Embarkation Day shout went up and it was a former colleague of DH this year second night MDR dinner clients of my firm. Few years back on a Nile Cruise a school friend of my brother! Managed to mainly avoid on Celeb but the Nile cruise they were nightmares
