Just looked for the price of a taxi from Marriott to Cruise Terminal Rotterdam on June 11th.... € 40 (wheelchair if foldable in the boot) a 6 minutes drive. But you mention walking from the Centraal Station Rotterdam to the hotel. If that is possible, it must also be possible IMO to walk next morning from the hotel to the Metro station next to Centraal Station and go with the Metro to the Terminal? See www.9292.nl (choose uour language) for public transportation in our country and choose the addresses of hotel and Terminal (and method of transportation with the wheelchair!). Result for the Metro on a Sunday (June 11th not available yet) departure Marriott to Metro Centraal Station for a 7 minutes walk, go to "Perron 2" and take Metro E direction Slinge (or perron 3 Metro D direction De Akkers), Leave metro after 6 minutes (3 stops) at station Wilhelminaplein and walk 10 minutes to the Cruise Terminal entrance. The price will be a few € per person and can since a few weeks easily be paid with a debet or credit card upon entrance of the Metro station. HAL transfer airport-cruise terminal is offered normally on the day of embarkation. So not suitabal IMO for @BeadyEl.

Seeing the 1st picture I thought that it had to be Stavanger.....Those castles ruin the whole view (of inhabitants and passengers) of this very very nice part of the town. I once visited on Rotterdam VI and we were (luckily) just behind this part of town, but also behind a huge cruiseship. One of their british pasengers saw us looking in awe and commented that he was very ashamed being a passenger of that ship....

Last year in May or June they asked us to call again in August for a reservation in September... And...the fish is 😋

7 minutes walking from Cruise Terminal Rotterdam to metro station, 7 minutes metro, 1 minute walk to Rotterdam Centraal Station.

Home : Cruise Express (cruise-express.be) From € 20 return shuttle ticket per adult. We used them in 2018. Perfect connection from just outside the cruise terminal (port shuttle from ship to exit) to Brugge. In Brugge a short walk from the Parking lot to the entrance of the town. Enjoy Brugge!

From the late 70's......In 40-45 years it changed and recovered from the WWII bombardments. Rotterdam is a perfect cruiseport. Rotterdam itself (https://en.rotterdam.info/visitors-info/rotterdam-tourist-information/ ) but at short distance from Delft, The Hague, Gouda, Dordrecht, Kinderdijk, Amsterdam (less than 40 minutes by train), Haarlem etc.

@Ine Do you have an address in Puerto Vallarta? I ask you as you live in PV in our wintermonths.

We lived there and never entered the Casino for gambling. As inhabitants we just profited from the Casino, no tax etc etc. 😉 (However, DH was glad his job sent us back to the Netherlands with the high taxes....🙂).

We had respect for Zwarte Piet (and how strange, even as small children we noticed it was an aunt or other member of the family) and his big bag. Now, winter is coming, and every year I ask Zwarte Piet to carry me to Spain in that bag on December 6th.....but he never does....

If you ship sails at 4 PM as you write, you will undoubtedly have to board the tender at least at 3 or 3.30 PM. Travelling by train from Monaco to Cannes is about 1 hour, so that makes 2.30 Walking to station in Monaco and to the tender in Cannes takes more than the 30 minutes left from 2 PM, opening time of the gambling in the Casino. Excursion offers maybe just a visit of the Casino, as it opens at 10 AM, Better for your wallet.

On m.s. Rotterdam VII they didnot calculate like before this Autumn. I specifically asked why the refund on my statement (bought winepackage before the cruise) was exactly half the price including the 18%. Guest service confirmed this is the way they do it now. (Other cruises this year we had the HIA package and I simply did not check our statement whenever we had extra's.....).
