    We did WOS a couple of weeks ago out of Barcelona. They had staff in the Attic on deck 4 to help people make entertainment reservations. Presume the same is available for people boarding in Rome.

    I haven’t had the chance to see that. I found all the shows in the theatre to be loud and especially Effectors 2.

    I’ll check to see if I still have the timetable. IMO Effectors 2 isn’t worth planning into your schedule. Our kids enjoyed it but I don’t think it’s for adults.

    We boarded WOS in Barcelona at the end of June. We paid 175 euro for 5 tests and they didn’t even look at them. The check in area wasn’t that busy. They’re just not interested anymore.

    Thanks for clarifying. Don’t know if I’d agree in relation to only CC folks being interested in the features. Of the people I talk to, previous cruisers are interested in what venues and features a ship has to offer. Those who haven’t cruises before are not interested in trying due to Covid testing. Just my experience.

    Any info on what’s happening in the dry dock or just other peoples expectations?

    Is there any more information available on what is taking place in that 5 week window? We are looking at a cruise on Explorer in the Summer of 2023 but the prices quoted seem steep for a ship which may not be amped.

    We’re just back from WOS. The earliest available to us was 11am to 11:30am. We selected the next window (11:30 to 12). As others have said there was no checking of time slots when we boarded. The ship is currently sailed well below capacity and check in wasn’t busy when we went through.

    😂 Im happy for them to keep the certs and ring them on the Monday. At this stage they can even use my phone if it means I can get on a ship.

    The only local testing centre for travel purposes have scaled back their working hours recently. We are planning to test on a Friday for a Sunday boarding. The test centre will be closed when we are boarding. Do RC need to be able to verify results? If so we will need to change our plans.

    The weather doesn’t support an Oasis class ship. The boardwalk and Central Park areas would be out of action a lot of the time. Also, there are too many seas days needed to get to the good stuff.

    Whether people like it or not, it will end, as have the other controls. Social distancing came and went. Masks are there for those that want them. Testing will go the same way. I have some sympathy for people who are or feel vulnerable but the world moves on based on the needs and wants of the majority.

    These threads are hilarious. I can understand people being annoyed by seeing anyone of any age displaying a lack of manners but I can never understand people being unhappy just to see children onboard. This forum can be like something from the Victorian period.

    Not definitely but in all likelihood it does. There could be another Billy Baltic with my DOB but not with my passport number.

    We are planning tests before our upcoming cruise. Our local pharmacy provides the tests but they just have name, date of birth, result and date of test on them. Is that sufficient? I would have thought passport number or something like that would be needed to make them specific to a traveller.

    Do you know how deep the pools are on Wonder or if any have a shallow end? We have two novice swimmers who love time in the pool when it’s not very deep.

    I’d advise you to run for cover. This topic came up a while back and it started well but quickly turned sour. Before the day was out posters wanted bar staff to walk the plank for even considering it. My read of it is that some people have said they have done it but most say it’s not possible. Kids vouchers for soft drinks only.

    It’s going to become increasingly difficult to get certified tests here. They were commonly offered by pharmacies but it was largely due to needing them for travel into the US.

    My understanding is that once they’re not wearing a happy they’re good to go.
