  1. Sailed Sky in May and the lunch buffet served the most amazing tasting Beef Bourguignon. Easily worthy of being served in Le Bistro! We all agreed it was the best we’ve ever tasted. I wanted to take their omelette guy home with me, they were superb! Consistently the best food we’ve had on all our NCLs
  2. Always Uber to and from Miami port now, standard taxi have really show up in price
  3. Caribbean cruise….got to rum rum and more rum Top pick on NCL, Dark & Stormy, they make the best! My second pick and not quite so lethal a Miami Vice, aka Red White&Blue, not on any menu but all the bar tenders make them. Frozen drink 😋 Our 1st NCL cruise we sat at the pool bar and worked our way thru the cocktail menu, don’t know till you try it. Didn’t quite make it to the end🤪
  4. Worth every penny especially if you have an early flight.
  5. Big thumbs up for Marella from us. Sailed Discovery 2 to Caribbean Nov 2021 & March 2022, primarily for the great itineraries and good last minute deals helped. Loved both and would definitely cruise again. Always found the food great and staff one of the friendliest bunch we’ve encountered at sea! Sailed P&O Britannia Feb 2023, last minute good deal, for us they were a massive fail. The service in the bars was atrocious, both speed, attitude of staff and quality of cocktails. The buffet was the smallest we’ve ever seen at see. Only cruise we’ve been on with no live omelette station for breakfast and roast beef dinners 3 days out of 4! MDR portions were unbelievably small and unseasoned. One speciality dining restaurant was exceptional and ate there 7 nights out of 14. Don’t even get me started on the drinks package, we didn’t fall for that one! Don’t think twice about Marella, do it !
  6. Wish I’d have spotted this itinerary sooner, it’s great! Already booked for Jan 2024 but gonna be keeping an eye on the prices, which are pretty good, in case I can sneak this one in. Sailed twice on Sky and found her the perfect size for us. Just returned in May and I can honestly say the food and service was excellent, IMO. Flying from UK into the DR would be a bonus for us as Miami immigrations is a nightmare for us after a long haul flight. I have no doubt you’ll have a blast, great ship great itinerary, very jealous🙄
  7. Sorry I forgot….IMO We didn’t try as the menu didn’t appeal
  8. Top tip….Book for the Beach House and Glass House no soon as you board. Extra charge but the best food ANYWHERE you’ll get on Britannia, just return from 14 nights and ate here 7 of them.
  9. Absolutely agree with Yorkypete. Just returned from 2 weeks on P&O Britannia and totally stunned as to how poor the service and complimentary food was on board. Luckily we only went on a cheap last minute deal, otherwise I would have been gutted! We did get some cracking meals at their paying restaurants, of which we ate half the cruise. Never sailed RC, not for the lack of trying but our preferred itineraries always seem to be on Celebrity & NCL, but have never been disappointed with food or service on either. IMO P&O don’t come anywhere near Celebrity, NCL or even TUI😆 PRO…..Price and maybe and itinerary you’ve always wanted to do CON…..Poor complimentary food & service. IMO
