Does anyone know of a cruise line/cruise ship -- perhaps from FL -- that stays overnight in San Juan, Puerto Rico?
None Only thing you can do is cruise from there
-
http://premiercruiseparking.com this is the one have been using for years . It is a parking garage not a open lot . There are two with almost the same name
9.00 per day
-
We use http://www.pnf.com/ There is another one but they move your car around on their lot to make space . We use them a lot . Never have a problem
-
You can drop then park . Porters will take bags
Here is map so you can see for your self

We never park in the port . We live local and cruise a lot. Found easier parking off premises

Just picked up someone at POM at 10.30 took about 1 and 1/4 BUT took I 95 to turnpike to Pomp exit
You just never know
-
One hour is what I would say also.

Do not even worry about it . I live in S Fla and there is nothing out there. Just rain here nothing at all this year. Like the person said you are safer at sea ship can out run storm.

Total deaths from ebola ~ maybe 4,000, if we're getting accurate counts from Africa . . .
Deaths in the US from influenza ~ averages 23,600 per year.
Honestly, I'm more concrened with the moron on the ship who doesn't wash their hands than I am of ebola.
How about this
Each year on average in the United States, norovirus—
- causes 19–21 million cases of acute gastroenteritis (inflammation of the stomach or intestines or both)

I take issue with some of the points in this post. I have sailed from Pier 2 aboard Star Princess and parked in the adjacent parking garage that also serves the Convention Center. There was no 4 lane highway I had to cross to get to or from the car.
I have not parked near Pier 18 when the Oasis Class ships dock so I cannot critique what is being said. That may be the 4 lane highway to which he is referring. But, from what I saw from an aft suite on the Westerdam, docked at Pier 19, with her stern pointed North and the bow of the Allure of the Seas to my right as I stood on my veranda, the parking lot that serves Pier 18 seemed to be quite accessible.

look at the 22 24 26 29 that is Eller drive
2-18 is not bad
For us I would rather have them pick us up at the curb handle our luggage and drop us at our car.
-
They don't have shuttles?
Yes but the wait can be long and they do not really help you with your luggage . At the Park and Fly they meet you at the curb put your luggage on the shuttle drop you at your car trunk and off load the luggage.
There is a reason you see a lot of people that post use them. Just remember it is Park and Fly not Park and Go they move your car around when you are gone

there are a few hotels where you spend the night and includes parking and free transportation.
cheaper than to pay up to $20 a day at the port where no one is there at night and who want their car to be next to the salt water to start to rust it and worst. lots of cruise ship leave from one port and come back to another then what do you do pay for a taxi to get to your car.
I found these places by searching hotel with stay park and cruise.
Yes you understand the parking at the port is not the best . You have to live here and cruise a few times out to understand how it works If you are on the very east side you have to cross a four lane highway to get to that garage . With a lot of baggage can be quite a feat. Or near the Royal Caribbean ships that off load 5500 people getting transportation is not easy On the hotel since I live close to the port I do not need a hotel . The thing I do not like there is no real security in a hotel parking lot .
-
Could be a very far walk as the parking is on one side of the port and some docks are on the far side
We use Park and Fly near port they have shuttle and do not move your car like the other that is off port property

We always use http://premiercruiseparking.com/ for years . Live in Pomp Beach Fla . It is a 6 story garage not a lot. If you get there early covered but sometimes in the weather . Never had a problem. If you use a hotel just a open lot.
Make sure you use that as there is another one almost same name is just a lot . Should be a cruise ship on the page

We've decided on Marmalade as well. The reservation system through Open Table doesn't book this far out, so I'm giving them a call today. We have a 7:30 p.m. all-aboard, so I have to figure out how many courses we'll want to enjoy and times.
Was there at beginning of month Took wife there for Birthday. It was good as they say . Had drinks 4 courses plus dessert . Waddled back to hotel a lot of food Dinner took almost 2 hours . Do not miss it

We just stayed at Chateau Cervantes for wife's birthday Right in the heart of Old San Juan . It was great close to all restaurants and the port. But you will have to check price. Great place
-

Greetings
The parking at the port is very good. Just outside the port entrance is Park-n-Fly and Park-n-Go. Both are excellent and cheaper. Park-n-Go is the least expensive, but they require you to leave the keys. I have used them many times and have never had an issue. They take you right to your ship and have vans awaiting when you return.
Good Sailing
Tom
I live close to port and used them both . You leave your keys as they move them the day you return do you can get to it

Best way is to find a hotel on any site then go to hotel site and see what price is > if it is more cal them and tell them the rate they normally will match it
What credit card gives you most bang for the buck for OBC/points, etc.

So you get points when you buy the cruise and then pay with the points. Yes there is a 49.00 fee but 2 points for every dollar you spend. This year we racked up 1.75 million points. Never pay for vacations :D
