Looks tasty! But, uh, beer isnāt gluten free. That pollo is a no no for GF folks. -
I have brought a few of the first ones on my Caribbean Princess cruise for their washers, it wasn't so much for the savings ($3 per box of detergent), but for saving my skin. Worked great! I also bring a few spot treatment wipes as well. I'm sloppy. PM

How is Embarkation from New York these days?

Oofie, I agree, they could have delayed that notification a bit. My last cruise (Princess Ft. Lauderdale) was a mess too, so I am mostly prepared, the others, not so much. I will try to get an early check-in time and distract her with her tablet.š Thank you! PM -
Hi Carnival Cruisers, I haven't seen any Venezia reviews lately. How is the embarkation process in NYC these days? What I'm particularly curious about are the long lines outside, I will have a nervous tween with me and need to prepare her a bit. We have priority, but if I understand it, we have to line up for security first and then the priority kicks in when we get into the terminal, correct? Thanks, PM

Iām recently gluten-free. Am I able to bring my own sealed snacks onboard? Thanks, PM

Weāre on this cruise too. We come in Friday morning but chose EWR for the train and the price. PM

Princess Cabin Reviews ā NO CABIN QUESTIONS POSTED HERE PLEASE!
PammyMouse replied to srice's topic in Princess Cruises
Ship Caribbean Class Grand Deck Emerald Cabin # E733 Category S6 (Vista Suite) Port/Starboard/Bow/Stern Stern Connects With Cabin # N/A Accessible N/A Quiet Except when docking Balcony Size Large but packed with furniture View Aft Privacy Issues None Wind None Soot Some White particles on chairs, far from stacks so I am not sure what it was Problems When docking it vibrates in the cabin Comments While it is directly above Club Fusion, I heard nothing from it. The actual sleeping area is more above the promenade. The lighting in the bathroom vanity area was poor. The shower temperature control was super touchy. This is the smallest of the Vista Suite cabins. -
Debarkation day! š¢ Last night I went to the farewell variety show. It was packed! I was in one of the side seats and could see well enough, but I would come early to that one, since it was only a single show. Iām on a debark tour āEverglades Airboat Ride and Flamingo Gardenā, so will be escorted off. I hope that is better than embarkation. Happy cruising, PM

Some shout outs: Gee and the staff at Vines were great. Sabatiniās staff and food was excellent. if you are feeling hungry at say 3-4pm there were chips, guacamole and fresh salsa in the buffet. I found veggie sushi rolls today! Sea day lunch in the MDR: roasted cauliflower. I will try to think of more, PM

Iām in the same camp. Iāve worked where we had drug dogs come through on a regular basis. I donāt partake, so it doesnāt affect me. And the fruit and veg dogs were in Cozumel sniffing bags. Also not a problem to me, I lived in CA when the Medfly was super destructive. In ORD they are the Beagle Brigade š¶. I think the cuteness angle helps folks tolerate it better. PM

Bittersweet afternoon. I attended the āBehind the Seasā, a Q & A with Olivia our CD. She was very patient with all the Morgue and Brig questions. She also made me nervous about my upcoming Carnival cruise. I am sure it will be fine. The last Sharks Enrichment was today. This was his best, because I could really sense how much he adores these creatures. He will still be on next week. @IndyKid if you like this, it is worth the time. Sharks - the other is upside down: More later, PM

Good morning! Last day at sea. Itās a little bit wobbly today. Temperature is pleasant. Went to Lido for another coffee and it is already busy. Last night I went to the āThere are Sharks in the Waterā Enrichment, had dinner in the MDR - it was Italian night, and attended the 80ās party. There was a bunch of 80ās themed activities last night. I missed the Production Show āBorn to Be Wildā since I didnāt check the times. They were different last night, 7 and 8:30. I was assuming 7:30 and 9:30. Must remember to check the Patter. š There is one more Sharks talk today, and I will look for some trivia. Iāve got some OBC to use up too. Iām an awful shopper, but I can probably find something. š I have not found out the number on board - I will try to ask again today. PM

Cozumel, redux. I was here in January, but mostly got rained out. I decided to go to the Museo in Downtown. I got a taxi for the trip to there. Prices have gone up and it is $10 now. Iām glad I did it, as I learned a bunch about the area and now will most likely try a tour to some ruins next. I walked around a little and decided to see what it was like to walk back. Completely fine, though a bit hot. clock tower: iguana Wow! This really is a huge difference, X Constellation on the right: Iām not a huge shopper but couldnāt resist: PM

Last night was Sabatiniās, I kept it light with the Insalata Mista and Filetto di Branzino alle Erbe Mediterranee. Sambuca for āDessertā. This was by far my favorite meal! The fish was delicious. I went to the 7:15 Captains Circle party. They have two, I am not sure what is the difference, to be honest. Maybe there are too many who qualify? There has been a violinist playing that is fantastic. He is part of the āSunny Duoā I think. I will try to confirm tonight. This is him: He did Vivaldi, and I now have a little crush as I adore Baroque music. š I went to the second show of Dan Middleditch, this was 50ās and 60ās rock. He did do some Grateful Dead, so DH would have been happy. š By the end of the evening I was wiped out. More on Cozumel next. PM
