Absolutely, we are doing at least 2 cruises a month since the restart. No crowds and the best fares.

I see on one of the cruise ship position sites that the eta of majestic princess in San Pedro is 13;30 on Sat Jan 22? Obviously that will mess up a lot of peoples flights if true...also means a long wait to board for those flying in today or tomorrow.
Anybody have any info is this is indeed correct eta?
The Majestic looks like she is right where she should be and going to correct speed to have her arrive outside of the Port of LA around 5:30am to pick up her pilot. You can easily look at Marine Traffic to see her current position, speed and course. Are you boarding tomorrow? Have you received notification from Princess there will be a delay?

CD Callie has joined the Grand. Maybe Steve was there for the interim? (he joined in late December) Or multiple CD's for Hawaii cruises just in case?

Actually, this is Natalie’s last cruise on the Regal. She disembarks tomorrow when we arrive at Fort Lauderdale and goes to the Majestic.
Easy flight East to West Coast, she can be on the Majestic around 1pm same day.

If they didn't include any place for special instructions when ordering I think most of our drinks will be obtained in person at the bars.
We did this for hot coffee drinks, with choices for different milks, whole, nonfat, almond, etc. Also, temperature or drink and any sweeteners. All on the app. Hot teas would just be lava hot and perfection for MUTS nights.

Caribe deck is the best on the Grand. I think we have stayed in C607 and it was perfect. Nightstands are there, along with USB ports in the bedside lamps. The balcony is oversized, half covered.

I did not feel dumb using it.....it seems like a very smart way for Princess to go because everything is much faster and there is a lot less use of paper and staff time, for example....but somebody's aloha spirit seems a little off.....😁
Exactly! So much more efficient. But you'll always have the resistance to change people who feel the need to complain about everything. Thousands of people use the medallion app with no issue. Only a handful, if that, have a problem and run to online to post.

I noticed on the last couple of recent cruises, lots of dishes, glasses etc left out in the hall. Much more than usual. I hate seeing the filthy dishes . With food being delivered more frequently via the appl., those same rude people are putting more dirty dishes out than usual.
May not be people's fault(although not an excuse), with room serviced by room stewards being once a day now. My room steward would come in in the evening to drop off the next day's patter. If I had dirty dishes or glasses, he didn't remove them. We just used the shelf where the TV use to be in the balcony cabins above the bar area to stack anything. It got removed in the morning. No reason to ever put dishes out in the hallway.
We always used the app and they would be gone within an hour or so.

A poster on this thread last month said the new CD would be Natalie Costa, perhaps most famous as the CD aboard the ill-fated Diamond Princess at the onset of the COVID crisis. She was much praised at the time for her good cheer and professionalism during incredibly adverse circumstances.
She's currently on the Regal.

I'm booked on Discovery in mid April in D730. Are you saying the entire Dolphin deck is set for quarantine cabins and they're going to move us?
The subject is Majestic balconies. Referring to the Majestic Princess.

The Majestic is a Royal Class ship, like the Regal which I see you've sailed on. It's not a Grand Class ship (like the Crown), and does not have the larger partially covered balconies on Caribe Deck like the Grand class ships do (which we love).
However, there are a number of Deluxe Balcony cabins forward and aft on Dolphin deck that are very much like the Caribe balconies on the Grand Class Ships (this is also true of the Sky, Enchanted and upcoming Discovery, but not the Royal or Regal).
Here's a link to my review of cabin D222 on the Sky Princess, with pictures of the balcony.
Sky Princess D222 review with pic's of large partially covered balcony
The same cabins exist on the Majestic, and I've circled the cabins on the Majestic deck plan pictures below.
They're wonderful cabins and balconies.
Hope this is helpful.
But Dolphin isn't bookable on current cruises as it's the quarantine deck. If you are sailing soon...

There's probably not enough interest as LGB is very small. Just grab a Lyft or Uber to the port.

Until you make the turn to the Strait of Juan de Fuca, you will be rocking and rolling!

Absolutely, you can view an associated booking from your main booking on the personalizer

Sorry to hear about the show being cancelled. Evidently, it's OK for a group to be together in the Vista Lounge for uke classes, and another group together for hula classes, but not all together in the theater? Princess ...consistently inconsistent...
The stage in the theater is much smaller than the lounge. And you can't really distance or put up barriers.

Are you sure only once?
Been several times since the pause and only entered everything once. Always green lane. 🙂

Not according to the princess gal on the phone today so i had to give it all to her again, wait for her to repeat it all to me and re enter it again....in spite of my having sailed on princess numerous times.
But you stated earlier you didn't input information into the app..now you say you did? My point is you enter everything once on the app.

Already did that well before the medallion app existed. The data is now no longer there.

Until you have to replace your passport or have a name change, etc...
So, in ten years max and possibly never with the name change. Lots of cruises. 🙂

You enter your information once, and it's always there. Any subsequent cruises, no need to add passport and other information again.
