How far from the airport?

I am unfamiliar with the area.  So I heard that the airport is about 20 minutes from the port.  Is there any Hilton brand hotels close by the port?

I really love the mini's larger bathrooms and spacious cabins but all of the available ones have the smaller balconies which I really don't like. On the one hand, I think $20 extra pp per day is a pretty good deal for a mini but on the other hand, I am very excited about having our first true aft location in the cabin we already have and we hang out on our balcony a lot. Such a dilemma. What would you do?!?

We were on the Caribbean Princess last month and it was in full OM mode.  I really don't see anything in it, except for opening the door.  I also don't like wearing the lanyard, but it still worked if it was in my purse or pocket.

Agreed.  I had it on the caribbean princess. No biggie.   I rather have the keycard in my pocket.  I hate the lanyard and med around my neck.

Why would Princess have on their site indication that medallion is not on the entire ship for those looking to book a cruise? You would think they would like to promote the availability of the medallion everywhere, but they might be erring on the side of caution. The problem is that the coordination is lacking on what the status is. 

We are still boarding her on the 30th and we'll see what is then.

Whoopsie...I guess the excuse me? was in reference to my comment about your TA.  I didnt mean for it to come out that way. I guess I just typed it fast and didnt look back.   But my friend is sailing now and he said the entire ship has the Medallion.  All decks, all cabins.  Thanks.  Will advise more on Sunday to see if he says anything changed thru the cruise. Maybe starting out the new year with the "Vacation" status handle will sound more positive, but when folks like us get on board and don't have the medallion, there will be even more negative blowback.

We booked this voyage because we love the ship and being on her for New Year's celebration.  The Medallion was a hopeful plus,  be we are happy without it.  And........we still enjoy the perks of the other "Ocean Medallion" features without needing it to open our door or buy a drink - we are very capable of doing that ourselves.

The entire ship has the medallion. Tell your rep to read up on it.

I will be sailing the Regal.  It is the same price as Plat and Elite as it is for non.  So basically, if I buy the unlimited, I gave up my internet package of 150 minutes.  I just wish I could give the 150 to someone.

I need to have unlimited internet (please don't say it's vacation, put your phone away).  If anyone knows, if you are at the Plat or Elite status and get 150 minutes for a 7 night cruise, do they discount the internet package you purchase?  

The ship is not smoke free.  The casino I found was SO smoky.  I just sailed on the Caribbean in Sept.

Since some of the promos are expiring this week..does anyone have any idea of the next sale?

I am going thru the same question. I want to book Feb 2019 Regal and its the sun drenched 40% off (yeah, right). The price seems high. But it is important I go on that day. I am wondering if I should wait for the new sale to come out next week. Will prices drop or go up? No one knows. Another poster (thank you) said to put a courtesy hold on it the day before the sale ends/starts. I think I will do that. Good idea.

I was looking at a cruise for Feb 2019 and it was cheaper before the 40% sale started. I am waiting to see if it goes down in price after the sale.
