How will they know we done it correctly though? We could have dipped the sticks in water? And we do have do both mouth and nose or just nose? I would rather do it correctly than incorrectly

Thanks mate. Joke isn't it. I have found pics of negative tests online and it may come to that. I know nyc pretty well and I don't know how to get tested now that bloom has closed down. I am sure we can buy em from CVS if it comes to it

Would it be 2 pictures on 1 phone or 1 picture on each phone? We only have 1 phone that could do pictures and not really good pics at that. The phone would be the old camera phones not a smart phone.

We don't have I Phones or Snapchat, Instgram, whatever they call it. We can take a picture and save that picture in the memory of the phone but that would be it. Or walk up to to check in with the negative test in our hands? That would be all we could do. Would these things be ok?

Bloom labs has actually closed down on now. No idea how to get tested now. Can we walk up with negative test sticks in our hands?

We don't have the i phones we have the older camera pay as you "track phones" like what James Spader uses on the blacklist as an example. They can take pictures but not digital ones.

It defeats the point of having the testing surely? Even if you are not lying how they know it was done correctly. I barely scratched my noise and the testing people accepted and tested that sample so surely that was not done correctly?

The fakes I have done are very good to be fair you can't even tell I cut paper over the scan date and time. Here is hoping we don't need them

I have actually just altered the date on our last two to April 30th by scanning them and sticking a cut out of the date over the last one just in case though we are getting tested our hotel in nyc is right next door to the bloom test centre so we will nip in there and test ourselves. You mean a negative strip from a covid testing kit? Any kind of testing kit? Like the ones you can get at boots in UK or CVS in New York? What information would the strip need to contain?

What if Cunard isn't offering testing? Then our test would be UNDER the two day requirement. FWIW I think as of April 30th that will be scrapped. We board Anthem May 1st so the test would need to be APRIL 29TH wouldn't it?

Cunard QM2. Testing day would last day at sea or earlier. I think they have testers onboard to conduct tests as required for pay at least QM2 did in September. I was hanging out with them in the club. I am sure we can get test but we will have to pay i imagine. If RCL won't stand behind those tests and demand their own even if free at the liberty port I see no point to paying Cunard to be tested. They won't test for free I dont have the ablity to self test onboard dont have iphone

Just a question that is being asked. Would being on another ship be a problem when boarding the Anthem T/A. Will royal accept the results of that lines Covid testing? Or would or being on another ship mean that would not recognise that test and consider us to be a bigger risk? Thanks in advance.

For a westbound T/A with a valid ESTA or if you U.S Citizen you might be able to?. At what point they send the manifests out? With airlines it is 2 hours after departure isn't it? So wouldn't a cruise ship have time? And also with a non stop T/A there is no chance of a no show passenger popping up at the next port? So if someone did rock up they might see the chance to get even more money given that the no show won't get a refund. But like I said I don't think anyone has ever tried it. For my own knowledge I will ask the question in April when we board the westbound T/A

What would happen if someone did rock up on T/A day with all the luggage and just waited to see if someone no showed. Would Cunard let them buy the cabin and pay the flight transfer costs?

I think they go for sale until maybe 24 or 48 hours before departure. I have seen agencies list last minute deals. I don't think you can turn up at the terminal at Southampton or Brooklyn or wherever and see if anyone no shows. There is no standby list like that in cruising at least not so far as I am aware

We always pay with card. But last time in August we think we got charged twice. And we don't have the i phone to do the verfiy thing with barclaycard you know where you use the calcuator they give you to get the pn number to verify yourself. My father has bought U.S dollars to pay the package in cash when we get onboard hoping he can. I thought I would ask on here.

Can you pay for the drinks package in cash when you go onboard the ship or when you check in at Southampton or when you leave the ship?
