Is there a dedicated poker table on the Harmony? Asking for my son.

Water slides, no

Absolutely get the balcony. I've done Northbound, inside passage, twice, started in Vancouver. As others have said, the buildup to the Hubbard Glacier is great.
You will LOVE Alaska

I have a magnetic "port hole" I put on the door. On a Halloween Cruise I brought a bat with sound and movement. When the cabin steward came around the bat started shaking, dropped down a doorway and made noise. The steward loved it.

1. Big Smile as I cross over the threshold onto my "Happy Place"
2. Foo Foo drink with an umbrella
3. Lunch
4. Start Exploring the ship
I still have 5 months to wait for this!

We were assigned a time of 1 p.m. Got there about 1130 and breezed right on. Had priority boarding but didn't need it. Go to Barcelona a few days early, beautiful city and lovely people.

I was on deck 8, not far from Dazzles. Didn't hear a thing. You can rest easy!

I really enjoyed your review! I still have 200 + days till my next Cruise, rats!

For some strange reason the luggage tags reflect the status of the least in the room. On my last Cruise the tags said Emerald for my friend, I am Diamond. Makes no difference whatsoever

Re OBC: Go to the Casino Cashier, ask for the amount of OBC in chips. Go back to the Casino later, cash out the chips.

I usually bring 1500-2000. About 200 of that in small Bill's for tips. In Spain last fall I brought 1000 in Euros and 1000 in U.S. Currency. Unfortunately half the time our Credit Cards/Debit cards didn't work. Blame it on connection problems, whatever. One night cards worked fine in a grocery store or restaurant, the next night not. (We stayed in Barcelona 4 days before Cruise)
Enjoy your trip!

If you plan to get into Sagrada Familia, make reservations online now. These are timed reservations. If you don't make reservations you may not get to see the inside, there are a limited number of reservations each day, the line for people waiting to see if they can get in is extremely long.
I hope you are staying a few days in Barcelona. Beautiful city, very nice people, easy to get around. Wonderful food!

Another vote for Victor Bodden, we had a wonderful day with them. I loved the monkeys!

We used a great company "All Around Italy" but for Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. For Florence used ships tour named "Easy Florence". We first went by bus, then walked a bit. Then they had guys in golf carts take you around. Lots of fun.

In October on the Symphony my Starbucks app worked fine. I had to tip in cash, it won't let you do it on app on board.

While on the topic of the Quest - What would you say is the minimum age to go to it? I remember Abe Hughes saying Love and Marriage is PG13 but can't remember hearing anything about Quest.
Rated R. Heckuva lot of fun.

My problem with air2sea has been they believe 30 min is ok to catch another flight. That being said, when going to Alaska and flying through Canada and Anchorage has been very helpful. Keep checking flight prices yourself just in case, be sure to go in a day early.

You will be glad you booked the later flight. I was there in October. We got to the airport quickly. We got checked in quickly. Then came a nightmare of going through Security. There were hundreds of people in line. 4 lines of Security people. Then came a very small space to show passports. Many many ppl in a tiny area with zero control (in spite of ropes off areas) to get to 4 ppl checking passports. People were shoving, missing flights It was awful. Stay a day or two in Barcelona if you can, it's gorgeous. Allow plenty of time for security.

Best Cruise ever. I've now been twice. The scenary is breathtaking. The weather was predicted as rain for 7 days and it hardly rained at all. Temp in 50s. In Ketchikan I did The Deadliest catch tour thru the ship. So much fun. There's so much to see and do. Although very expensive, we heard the tour where you take z helicopter to the glaciers and then take a dog sled is well worth it. Do NOT grab anybody off the dock for an seaplane ride. On our trip the seaplane hit a tree branch and came down. Everyone survived but I expect it was terrifying.

Yes you will be ok. Enjoy the Symphony, I was on her in October. I need to book on her again, we were so busy in Europe we didn't get to explore all she had to offer!

They do show the big games. We saw the Superbowl a few years back. It was a blast. They had food, cakes with team logos. They held the party in Studio B. It was great.

RCCL has always done a great job for my son. (Severe seafood allergy as well) He told the waiters at every specialty restaurant when we checked in, and at the table. He had also told the special needs dept and on Day 1 in the dining room our waiter had it already written down.

in Royal Caribbean International

On Formal Night I ran up to the Windjammer for something and they had Mountains of cold Shrimp. My son is highly allergic but I may be going up for a snack!
