We are currently on the Allure right now. The menu order is as follows:
Mojo, Saffron (Formal), Pimiento, Basil, Shiitake, Jasmine (Formal), Pomodoro.
This is different than what has previously been stated. I thought people might like to know for planning purposes, although I suppose it could change again.
We are have having a fabulous time!

We will also be on this sailing! :)

We have been to both, Drums of the Pacific and Old Lahaina, on land-based trips to Maui. I would choose Old Lahaina for authenticity. If you choose Drums of the Pacific be sure and walk the grounds of the Hyatt Regency. It is very pretty and there is an area with birds and penguins near the lobby.

Is the Coco Loco available on the ships or only at Coco Cay?
-
That is good news. I hope that we will have the same luck. We have three $25 Navigator chips and are going on the Allure in July.
-
Thank you for the great pictures of Maui and especially Lahaina from the ship. Maui is our favorite vacation spot and is one of the reasons we don't cruise more often.
I look forward to seeing more photos of your trip. Have a wonderful cruise!

I wish they would do away with Pomodoro and bring back the Vidalia Onion Tart.

Thank you Andrew for taking the time to post all of these.

When I first booked our July cruise on Allure it said that only MTD was available. Within the past week or so traditional dining is now available. We are going to stay with MTD, but as of right now we cannot reserve dinner times and we are 92 days out. Keep checking and traditional may open up if that is what you prefer.

Thank you for the the fun and entertaining updates, reviews, photos and Periscopes. We are looking forward to our time on the Allure in July and you have made it even more exciting. We have sailed post dry dock Oasis, so are looking forward to the new and improved Allure.
Have a great week!

The Jamaica patty is oh so delicious. We discovered them when we took a culinary tour in Falmouth. We did find a whole in the wall place in Nassau to get them this past February and that will be the only reason we go into Nassau on our next cruise in July. I highly recommend them to anyone who has not tried one.

We are all cruising in July so we will see what happens. We weren't expecting his jump to Diamond, so if they readjust him back to Emerald it will be fine. I am sure he will be flaunting his current, even if only temporary, Diamond status to his older brothers who are only Platinum.
-
Strange: we just turned diamond. Our daughter cruised with us on our very first cruise in 2012 (she was 14) and then twice inbetween (last Oct Splendour and Enchantment just now in Feb, when we were Platinum & Emerald). Her 19th b-day will be next week.
Yesterday I received a message congratulating me on turning Diamond (points gained Navigator Feb 2106 where she was not onboard) so I went and checked everybody's status online. And guess what, she has also been granted Diamond status! Good for her, but I now wonder why...
This is exactly what happened to us. Our youngest son, who will be 19 in May, is now Diamond even though we did not turn Diamond until our cruise (without him) also on the Navigator in February. Of course, we are all pleased and hope that they do not notice the error.

On one cruise in the concierge lounge, I believe it was Liberty, I asked if they had chambord so I could have Kir Royal. They did not, but it was a nice surprise the next evening to find that our server made sure it was stocked for the rest of the cruise.
-
If we knew we wanted room service breakfast I would place our order the night before and tell them what time to deliver the next morning. They would call when it was on the way.
A funny thing happened on our last cruise. My husband wanted 3 eggs instead of the usual 2 and they misunderstood what I said and brought 3 complete meals with 2 eggs, hash browns, bacon and toast. In addition to my order it was a lot of food!

I came home with $75 in chips, by accident, on our Navigator cruise last month. Will they let us change them out on our cruise on the Allure in July?
-
Thank you all for the helpful answers :)
-
Will they allow a rollaway for the fourth person instead of two people having to sleep on the sofa bed?
How are our chances that we will be able to have the balcony divider opened?
-
Thank you for the answers about the noise. I think we will go with the L2. It will save quite a bit of money because we need two staterooms.
-
When you are staying in the L2 CLS do you notice the noise from the sports deck, especially at night? We currently have an L1 and an L2 booked and am trying to decide which one to keep.
-
We got off the Navigator on Feb. 28. We also had no problem taking drinks out of the CL. Amit was wonderful concierge.
-
We were also on that cruise and had an enjoyable time even without being able to go to Coco Cay. The crew was friendly and service was good. I agree that the casino layout could be better, but all the dealers (with the exception of one) were very nice and fun, especially at the craps table.
We did decide that 3 day cruises are just too short for us since we have to fly to the ports so only 4 nights or longer for us. :)
-
Thank you to everyone for the helpful input. I think we will book the southbound and I am going to enjoy reading all the posts I can find about Alaska here and on the ports of call page.
