  1. Is there a better month between May-August to cruise Alaska, not taking weather into consideration? I am thinking more about the wildlife that we would see and such.

  2. It is still the regular main dining room menu. We were assigned to the Silk dining room for MTD, but after the first evening we asked to be changed and was assigned to Grande. We did not care for how dim it was in Silk and we had a bad location.

We always had to go to logoff.com before logging

onto another device. It did not automatically kick us off.

  3. I am still trying to figure out how to upload a bigger photo...

The manager indicated that there would be two different menus. One for the first half and one for the second.

We did not eat lunch there, but they were serving complimentary drinks in the lounge during the day, at least the times we were in there.

We were also able to take our drinks out of the lounge so it was perfect right before we left for dinner.

    Breakfast was very good.

There was a future sales person in the lounge several times.

Also, they had removed all the blue notebooks out of the staterooms and one of the concierges were placing new items in them. So, maybe it will be about the new suite amenities. I was hoping it would be put back in our suite before our last day, but it was not.

BTW, we stayed in 11330 and loved it. Although I prefer the larger bathrooms in the original GS, it certainly did not affect our cruise. It is a long walk to get anywhere, but I only look at that as needed exercise.

  4. The RCL cruise planner rep I talked to today about our Oasis March 13 sailing said that they are working on the reservation system to get it changed back to early/late or MTD from Dynamic Dining. He said that it would probably be towards the end of this month before any dining reservations could be made.

  5. I also hope they enforce the dress code. We have always followed the dress code suggestions for the MDR including our three sons from smart casual to formal. It seems the Grande is the answer for those who don't want wear formal wear and hopefully they will not try to get by and not follow the suggested guidelines. Call me crazy, but it bugs me to see people in shorts and flip flops on formal night in the MDR.

  6. I found this information on cruisestateroom.com. It does say that the bathroom will only have one sink as opposed to two in the current Grand Suites.

Grand Suites (14330, 14730, 12330, 12730, 11330, 11730) have one bathroom sink and balcony lounge seating. Staterooms 12330 and 12730 are 433 square feet plus 362 square foot balcony. Staterooms 11330 and 11730 are 466 square feet plus 470 square foot balcony. Staterooms 14330 and 14730 are 421 square feet plus 136 square foot balcony.

I cannot wait to see photos of the completed suites.

We have 11330 booked for March of 2015!
