  1. Have submitted max bid on both Aurea suite/whirlpool and YC for 22 December on Euribia. Went on to the website to see if there is a chance BUT it states all fully booked. The interesting thing is that the max bid has increased over the past few days. I take this as MSC is testing to see just how high it could go?
  2. We originally were going to stay near the port but as our vacation expanded, we decided that we will just get transportation the day of from London.
  3. Hey Mike! Wife and I will be on board with a 13yr old son and 8yr daughter!
  4. We will be in Zeebruge 12/27/23 on MSC Euribia. We don't mind an adventure but we are trying to get to Bruges the easiest way possible. Am I understanding this correctly as once we get off the boat, we will have to take a shuttle bus to the transportation center to get ANY form of transportation into Bruges? Yes I see that train/bus might be cheaper but with 2A & 2C, might be easier to get cab.
  5. Glad I saw this thread before I posted a new one. We are taking the train from Paris to London the day before the cruise (in the morning) and was planning to go straight to Southampton but upon looking at what is there, I am thinking it might be better to get another day in London since we will only have the night we return back from the cruise.
  6. I have gone with the suggestion from @John Bull and staying at Premier Inn West Quay for our December MSC cruise. The more I am reading up on it, the more it makes sense.
  7. Awesome..Please do! I realize that a lot of places do not have their plans set yet but its crazy stress on us cruisers!
  8. Have been wondering the same thing!!! This was certainly a bummer finding this out after booking the cruise. Trying to figure out what to do with the time.
  9. Thanks so much. Right now a lot is up in the air as we need to finalize flights from the US and such. If we do arrive in the UK early enough, we might be able to hit it on the way down.
  10. Sailing back into Southampton at end of December and returning to London. Would love to stop over at Stonehenge on the way up (original plan was on way down pre-cruise but time would be more on our side after cruise). Trying to seek out best methods. Really would prefer NOT to travel with a ton of other people.
  11. which is trash because i would love to see it happen in the NFL
  12. The fixtures aren't set yet for when we will be traveling there. If not Southhampton FC, we might be able to get to something else in London after our cruise.
  13. Thanks @John Bull lots of great information there. I will certainly look into West Quay then. We just need a simple place to stay before the cruise. Being near shops, restaurants, and some sights is certainly worth it. If there does happen to be a match at St. Mary's then we will get a taxi over. Have never seen a match overseas.
  14. Correct, we will not have a car. Going to be flying into London and heading down towards the port. Was only thinking City Centre because we may check out St. Mary's Stadium but is West Quay really that far from it either?
  15. Been eyeing the West Quay or the Southhampton City Centre location (we might want to check out St Marys Stadium the day before the cruise)
