I enjoy Murano, but would not pay $50 per/person. I would try to negotiate a discount once onboard; if no discounts are offered - take a pass, if you receive a discount, great. Celebrity has gotten out-of-control with their specialty resto pricing.
Thank u for this!

Is the extra $50/pp REALLY worth the food at Murano? We booked it already but using $150 of our OBC....that we can use for other things.
Just want to make sure Murano is absolutely worth it on a 10 night cruise on Equinox..... traveling with my mom and sister.....
We also booked Tuscan for the 1st night sail away at discounted rate....

Ohhh yes I'm using OBC for 2 excursions....I booked 2 others online with other companies 🌴🚢😎

I just cancelled and rebooked a few excursions that went on sale! It's only for 2 days...many are 20% off 😁

We did this excursion a year ago. There is no way to enter the water except climbing down a ladder into it from a small dock area. Lots of coral, rocks, stones on the shoreline and they don't want you entering from there. The climb down the ladder was about 3 or 4 steps. There were a few small white plastic tables if you wanted to grab one to bring by your lounge chairs. They were filthy, bring lots of wipes if you go. Bathrooms were fine. I was very disappointed in this excursion. I wouldn't go again.
Thank u for this!!!

For one reason or another it took us about 45 minutes to get to the resort, and a little less to get back to the ship.
My 4th time to this island I will never do anything else when I'm on Curacao except spend the day at this AWESOME resort.
The Santa Barbara Beach and Golf resort ROCKS!!
This is awesome info!! We are so excited to go there in September!!!!!!!!🍸

Beverage packages, internet, and select excursions are on sale for 3 days 🍸🍷🍾

Just got off the phone with Celebrity. They are once again tweaking their website which explains why cruise planner etc wasn't working for some people. Everything should be ironed out by Friday she said.
I just received an email from X last night saying we owed them money for Murano and Bev package upgrade when indeed I had already paid in OBC and have email confirmations....since they are tweaking their system it caused a GLITCH.....UGH. Which is what prompted my call to them this morning 😊

Wondering if anyone has ever waited til 2-3 weeks out to book a cruise and if so....did the fares dramatically drop?? Looking at Equinox April 20th....it still has several empty cabins... wondering if they will drop this cost?? Realizing with the dry dock approaching many are waiting to sail on her after she's spruced up.....we sail on her in September also!

We are doing resort for a day at the British colonial Hilton to get a little beach time. I will report back next week id if it’s worth it!
We did this in November and were pleasantly surprised.....very relaxing, great food for lunch, close to port....we walked! Small but very clean beach. Absolutely loved it for a quick resort day! Would go back for sure.

Unfortunately for the past three or four days my Cruise Planner gives me a message something like " Well this is frustrating, you're trying to plan your vacation and our site has taken a vacation to upgrade the site" or words pretty close to that. Am I the only one experiencing this? I can get into my 'Manage Reservation' when I log in, but not the Cruise Planner so I can't check for the Flash sales 😞
Me too...can't get into cruise planner.....same message ! Ugh. I need to call them....

I wish this was a blanket statement. We've been in specialty restaurants 8:30 and later and parents with small children came in AFTER us. Of course, as you'd expect the children were tired, cranky and the parents were oblivious to it. No way to keep a 3 year old entertained and quiet for 2.5 hours at 9pm. Paid $50+ each for specialty meals we could not enjoy.
Murano on Equinox has an age restriction...12 and older which definitely helps

Where do you generally cruise? I have looked at Celebrity for the Caribbean and thought their balconies were higher priced than Royal. I may have to look again!
Caribbean, Bermuda and Mediterranean with Celebrity.....
We booked a 10 day itinerary.....outdoor balcony MIDSHIP on Celebrity Equinox back in January to sail in September 2019....ABC islands , Grand Cayman and Key West.....for 3 adults.....paid $2,600..... INCLUDED Classic unlimited drink package for 2....all alcoholic drinks etc, $300 OBC, and Gratuities for 2!!
I often look at RC but then HATE that every little thing is an extra cost!!!!!! We like OUTDOOR balconies....not interested in hanging out on a boardwalk balcony to people watch....we'd rather look at and smell the ocean!!! Lol
Celebrity food and service is outstanding!!! We are 40 fyi...

Does RC ever offer OBC, TIPS, WIFI OR DRINK PACKAGE PERKS? Or are those items all ala carte?? Their cruise costs for a balcony are always SO expensive and don't include any extras!! We Cruise Celebrity mostly.......

Is there a beach close to where Equinox docks in Bonaire?
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
Please don't direct me to the Bonaire board as I haven't received any responses there 😁
Are there any beaches super close to where the Equinox docks in Bonaire? We have an excursion booked but it ends at 10:30 am and we still have all day in Bonaire.....hoping we could do a beach if close to port??
Any info?
