No, layoffs. Labor wages have gone up everywhere. As there are fewer people applying to work on cruise ships I highly doubt they are paying less than last year. While cruise ships were shut down during covid, Royal was taking care of their employees. I heard this from many workers in the last 2 years, even the workers at CocoCay including the people that sell souvenirs and hair braiding.

True but at the same time I would not want to try to carry that many plates on an elevator to eat on an upper deck, especially if there was alcohol involved during the evening😁

Thank you. Yes, I was able to watch the video. She is precious! All her outfits are so adorable. Just a suggestion, may be time for an outfit for gardening that won't matter if it gets dirty. I call them my "yard clothes". If she is anything like me she is dirty from head to toe by the time she is done.

For the past 2 weeks I have been feeling like myself and have been blaming it on allergies. Yesterday while doing yard work I was feeling a bit out of breath and definitely have an annoying cough. This morning I was out of breath after a couple trips up and down the basement steps. Friday and Saturday night the area in front and bottom of my right ear has been bothering me so this afternoon I decided to go to an urgent care facility. This is the first time I have gone to one for myself. Found it to be very efficient and definitely much easier than trying to get ahold of my Doctor's office during weekdays. The Doctor said I do not have an ear infection but I am definitely congested and diagnosed me with acute bronchitis. She said there are a lot of respiratory infections still going around this time of year and prescribed Benzonatate once a day along with an inhaler to be used as needed (but no more than 4 times a day) and take extra strength Mucinex extended 12 hr. tablets. I just took the mucinex and will take benzonatate in a bit. I don't like taking medicines I have never used at the same time. She said I am most likely not contagious since I have felt this way for a 1 week or so and still go to work (Darn it - LOL). Eric has been congested as well I suggested he call the family Doc since he has restrictions on what meds he is permitted.

Hi John, Nothing yet. I decided to wait to mid May to plant. We had a cold spell last week so I was happy I didn't plant my seedlings yet. Can I borrow your Gardener Kenzie when I'm ready to plant? Those sure were some adorable photos of her. I have been loving your trip/ cruise photos too. How are you liking several sea days in a row?

If Wj is closed the doors will be closed so you cannot take your food in there to eat. Plus they will most likely place each order of Wings, etc on their own plate with plastic lids. Are you prepared to carry 20 plates of wings, burgers, salads, etc to an upper deck? Will be quite the task. If you are on a ship with playmakers just go get wings there.

I was very impressed by both of them for barely moving. Also, impressed with all the well behaved children who did not get frigidity. Do they not feed or let them drink to avoid bathroom trips or do they wear diapers?

We both thought the same when we watched last night. She looked terrified at one point then another time i thought maybe she had botox and could move her face to smile.

Royalup is handled by a third party so don't be fooled by their photos. I have never heard of a scenic OV cabin or a sunset balcony. A spacious OV will have about 20 sq' of extra space. Ultra spacious OV cabins are great for families as they usually have a separate area for kiddos to sleep. Much larger. Usually at front of the ship, depending on the ship.

Your choice is call now to place the request for bed to be separated to 2 twins or wait until onboard. Personally, I would call now as embarkment day is a very busy day for them.

Sorry to hear about your Wife's foot. How did it happen? Did the scooter driver not see your Wife?

We frequent the diamond lounge (DL) for our coffees. They have regular, decaf, cappuccino, espresso and lattes made fresh with their self-serve machine. As already said you can grab bottled water and/or soda with your 4 per day drinks that will be loaded onto your seapass. How much is a case of water for your sailing? Maybe buy that and use your diamond vouchers for soda and alcohol?

Save your money and just get your bottled water from the SL. Worst case, get a couple during happy hour each night. We are both casino prime members and usually grab several bottled waters from the casino every night for the next day.

We were in a JS but knew people in a GS.

The SL did have beer and wine, water bottles (probably soda too) from 11 am to sometime in the evening on our Late August Oasis sailing.
