Have a great cruise. Hopefully able to relax knowing Mom is in good hands. Assisted living apartments in my area cost anywhere from $5000 to $8000 a month for a single person depending on size of apt and level of care that is needed. Insurance does not cover any of it, just medications. The one my Mom lived in was brand new, beautiful facility. They had a movie theater and played matinees and evening movies a couple times a week, they even had nightly happy hour for the residents able to have some wine. Activities going on all day and night. They gave out weekly newsletters with list of daily activities. My Mom said it always reminded her of the Compass on Royal.

And that’s why we get balconies

I'm in Bucks County, PA and was raining all morning. Sun came out for a bit, then nasty showers and winds tonight. That's great you are doing a b2b. I wish we could but I could only get 1 week from work this month. -

RCL Coffee Cards: Beware FALSE ADVERTISING!

I go the diamond lounge for my free specialty coffees, no iced lattes, but make your own cappuccino or lattes with as many shots of espresso without using a voucher at their self serve machines. -
In the past we have done 11 am flights and had time to relax and grab a bite to eat in airport lounge. Definitely do not recommend any earlier than 10 am. If your cruise is on or close to a holiday expect longer waits for TSA, precheck doesn't always work.

As of tonight, we are both going on our cruise leaving Sunday. I have been very busy at work getting things done before I'm off next week. Eric was busy making phone calls. I think his deciding factor was based on the fact his Brother didn't show up for his scheduled appt. Yesterday to identify the body and complete the forms required for her cremation. Eric learned this morning when funeral home called asking when someone would be there. Uggh! Eric said he will go on cruise as long as we go to Chops at least one night and we can get a driver as he doesn't feel like driving. No problem Sir😃 Chris will drive us up to Cape Liberty then we will probably arrange a car service for ride home the following Sunday. Happy cruiser here😀😀😀

It's common in our area too. About 10 yrs ago we were getting rid of our desktop for laptops and tablets. I took desktop for her to learn. I tried to teach her but she just didn't absorb how to use it so after a year of trying with no luck we disposed the computer. Eric's Brother bought her a smart phone and tried to teach her but no luck she liked her flip phone. As the saying goes "Cannot teach an old dog new tricks" Both my parents used computer and smart phone. My Dad loved being able to check out his stocks online. We will just have to wait and see what bank statements come in the mail in the next month or so since some may be quarterly.
