No she has to get her car today if she wants to not miss school on Monday. She can’t miss class.

They are working on the tire now. The plan is to Uber her back there and have her drive the car back here. They are not open on Sunday and she has to be back early Monday morning after the cruise. Never simple is it?

So this is interesting. I thought it’d be nice to pre-order some cheese and crackers for my DDs so they’d have treats in their cabin when they enter. $129 for cheese and crackers?? Even our high end restaurants don’t charge that much for a big charcuterie board. 😳. The food gifts prices on NCL is nutsto. Is it a glitch? Am I missing something? DD arrived safely a little after midnight safe and sound. We are ready to begin the fun. It’s a rainy morning in LA and the waves are enormous! It’s hard for you to tell but normally they are 1/3 that size.

DD is in an Uber and on her way. Thank goodness!! We will deal with the car tomorrow. We are tracking her 2 hour journey. 🙏🙏

Yup. Once in Palm Springs at the dealership insurance will pay for the first 90 miles for Uber. We will cover the additional 19 miles to HB. Loooong day for the DD. Life is the best teacher IMO.

Yeh she had to go and buy one of those fancy BMWs with low tires and no spare tire. Oy! 🙄. Just give me my cheap reliable Honda or Ford and I’m good to go. This is why we need to see if the dealer even has her tire type. If not she will just Uber home. We will deal with the car/tire tomorrow.

It looks like the tow truck will l take her and her car to Palm Springs to the dealership. Uber can then drive her home to HB. Her insurance will cover all of it. As long as she gets here safely I’m good. Backup plan is DH drives to Palm Springs to get her. 🙏

Yeh this is the same DD who put her knee down on an upside down Kelley fish two years ago in GSC. Murphy and his law must follow her around. Good news is she is safe. 🙏

Oh FFS! My one DD driving from Arizona just got a flat tire. She needs a flatbed and is in Blythe of all places. We are hoping they can tow her to a dealership in Palm Springs. If the dealership has her tire she can get it replaced tomorrow, otherwise my DH is driving out there to get her, book a hotel, spend the night, then drive back here tomorrow. What a $-show! 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

Packing RN. My plan is to pack my NYE outfit, curling iron and makeup with my wine in my carry on bag. I worry that our bags might night arrive before we want to start the NYE party. For my red wine I’m thinking Bodyguard by Daou, Silver Oak, and Caymus. For bubbles Nic or Veuve. One must be kept cold for sailaway.

Today is cleaning, packing and nail day. The out of town crew start arriving today so we have to be ready to Paaahtay by this afternoon. My friend is hosting a bon voyage brunch tomorrow with the entire crew. Should be fun! Time to scurry 🐀 and start my chores!

Cheesin’ it up! We will be the cheesy ones on this cruise. We have matching shirts for sailaway, outfits for the Glow party, 90s, New Years and Cowboy night which we will create on our own if they do not have one. For New Years we are dressing as we would have from Scarlett Night - in Red. We are also doing a pub crawl and have cheesy outfits for that as well. Sailaway shirts: Some of our cowboy night and Glow party garb. We had a blast shopping down town in the garment district! 😂
