  1. It can get confusing. Basically Greg has 3 specialty dining credits that he can use and should book sooner rather than later. Menus can be found on the App or web if you look under the restaurant's name, or as one poster mentioned, you go to guest services. You can book there or at one of the restaurants. The Premium Plus beverage package allows you to have premium drinks and discounts off wine. In addition, you are able to bring as much wine onboard as you want - no corkage fee. 790164-BEV_Package_Flyer_UOBP_PPBP Update_V7_no_crops.pdf
  2. We had the same seat experience years ago on the Breakaway. I took a picture of the "bar" in the seat. They need to pad the seats more IMO.
  3. Too funny ! I am on that same cruise with the same exact issue. I was told we need to change the reservations once we board - only way. They only allow you to book large tables (6+) at the 5:30 or 9:30 time slot. I guess we will both be in line trying to move our times around. 🤣
  4. Wow good to know!. Have you ever sailed out of San Pedro on the Bliss or Joy? Any experience with the Latitudes priority boarding there? We just became Platinum and are wondering about it.
  5. Does anyone know if there is a benefit to this if you are Platinum? @BirdTravels I consider you an expert on knowing the ins and outs of Latitudes perks and such. Are you able to comment on this? Thx. 😊
  6. Good for him! No way should you suffer because of a different group’s issues. 🙄
  7. Same here. The Haven prices on some cruises are astronomical. On our upcoming NYE cruise on the Bliss we will be deploying the Haven Lite strategy. There are 6 of us going on this cruise (3 cabins) and we were all able to score Vibe passes, additional specialty dining (Platinum members) and upgraded drink package. Club balconies on this cruise are $3500 oer cabin compared to the Haven which is going for $13,000+ per cabin. Thanks @Sthrngary for sharing this great alternative to the Haven strategy. 😊
  8. How far of a walk is Lety’s from the water taxi?
  9. It is a public beach, so yes. You have to exit the park to get there though. I’m not sure if you can use the beach loungers though.
  10. Sure. I booked on their website. https://bahabay.bahamar.com/cabanas/ First I researched where we’d want to be in the park (near the lazy river). Then, I looked to see which cabanas were closest to the lazy river and booked it. They only book three months or so in advance, so mark the date and jump online when they open bookings to get the cabana you want. The tickets for the water park were much cheaper through Royal so I booked the excursion through the ship. This also included the transportation to and from the park. If you have a family it is worth it IMO.
  11. We enjoyed it, but it depends on what you enjoy. Priority boarding and disembarkation is nice and if you have tender ports you get priority as well. This comes in handy if you book private tours and want to get off of the ship early. We also enjoyed the specialty lunch and breakfast. Having Zoom is a must for us so buying the Key when it is a few dollars more than the cost of Zoom is a no brainer for us. I’ll post the Menus and letter we received so you can determine if it is worth it to you or not. Enjoy your cruise!
  12. Interesting. I have done it 5 times and we are usually out in 2.5 at the most.
  13. I like your idea- more cruises! And yes on pounding the chicken. It was like a hockey puck! I’ve never cut into chicken that hard before. The taste was odd too. I may have to take more of these three dayers too! We did the three then four day last February and really enjoyed it. Someone on FB reported that we were 10% OVER capacity on this cruise due to families. That makes sense and explains the long lines, no seating issues and long elevator wait times. We really enjoyed the wine tasting in Ensenada! There are new boutique/hip wineries opening up there. I never thought I’d be excited to go to Ensenada, but now, why not?😃🥂
  14. We vacated our cabins at 8. Trying to get an elevator was a cluster so we took the stairs dragging our luggage behind us. It took us about 15 min to get off the ship and through customs. Love the facial recognition software they use to get through customs. Super fast! We were in our car and home by 9:15 AM. It was a fun short cruise. I really didn’t miss having a suite. Our balcony cabin was plenty big for the two of us, especially for this smaller cruise. The suite perks on this ship are rather “Meh” in my opinion. The Key was a great addition, was rather inexpensive and delivered some nice suite-like perks. On this short cruise it worked out great. I think when we do this again we will get the dining package. The food in the main dining room was really hit or miss. I think we got spoiled with the dining package on previous cruises. I think I’d rate the MDR food a 6/10. I think the buffet had better selections and food on this cruise. The staff were amazing. They really worked hard to make sure we had a great experience. Kudos to them. Now it’s time to unpack and fill out the survey. We always keep notes on who we feel went above and beyond so we can give them positive feedback on the survey.
  15. With the Key you get a really nice breakfast in the dining room on deck 3 on disembarkation day. It reminded me of the suite breakfast. The food was quite good!
  16. They had a fun 80s party on deck 5 which was a hoot! After that I called it a night. These were waiting for us back in our cabin! 😍😍
  17. Last night we ate in the main dining room. I could not eat the chicken parm so got the lasagna instead. The wait staff were super apologetic but it was not their fault and I told them so.
  18. Valle Girl Winery. Strong drinks! They also have a distillery! Strong drinks!
