Thanks for all of the ideas! Question...if you leave your bag at your lounge chair or buffet table to hold your place, aren't you afraid to leave it with your cell phone in it unattended? I would be. Maybe I will discover that I don't need my phone either. I think the greatest appeal is being able to order food and drink to wherever you are.

In the past I have never carried my cell phone around on the ship, I left it in the safe. But now it appears that carrying your cell phone around the ship with you has certain "advantages". I realize that I can still leave the phone in my cabin if I want. My question is what do you use to put your cell phone in when moving about the ship? Do you put it in your pocket? Wear it around your neck? Carry a small bag or tote? Carry a purse? I have never carried a purse around the ship before. I do have a small cross body cell phone pouch that I could use but just wondered what you all do.

I am currently booked with EZAir on Princess. The price (domestic) was slightly better than what I could book myself. I don't have to pay for it until final payment 90 day before the cruise, not at the time of booking.. If you get the flexible fare you can make changes up until 45 days before the flight. I was able to choose my airline, my flights, and my seats. My Skymiles number was applied. And if you miss your cruise they will even fly you to the next port of call to get on the ship. And in addition, if you have the Princess Platnium insurance your flights are covered too. It was a win win for me.

How do you find the cruises with the $1 deposit? Are they just mixed in with everything else?

The first thing I did was reboot my phone. No go. I re-installed the app. No go. I then tried logging in again and lo and behold it tells me my email address is not valid! Of course its valid! I use it to log on the Princess website! I sure hope they fix it quick. I wanted to change my dining reservations and you can't do that without the app.

Well I had an update on the Princess app today and now it won't open! I get a blue screen with the Princess logo and it just sits there locked up. Anyone else?

Is the Retreat pool free to use? Is it adult only?

About how much is Uber or Lyft to the port from Hyatt Place Cruise Port hotel? Is it a better rate than a taxi? I understand the hotel shuttle to the port is $9 per person.

Two different things GeorgesGal. To open your door you need the physical medallion. The app is software on your phone.

And Smart Tags are for Samsung Galaxy phones (Android). If you have a Galaxy phone take a look at the Smart Tags. Very similar to Air Tags. The Smart Tag is more limited as to what phone you can use it on but if you do have a Samsung Galaxy phone then you are all set.

Love hearing these stories on how Air Tag, Tile or Smart Tags have worked for you in different situations! Keep them coming so I can justify to my husband how worthwhile they are to have!

This is not directly on topic but related to cruising none the less. For those of you who fly, have you ever used Air Tags (Apple), Tile or Smart Tags (Samsung) in your luggage so you can track where your luggage is (or isn't)? Do the airlines allow these in your checked luggage because they do have batteries, although small ones? And most importantly do they work? Since I have a Samsung Galaxy phone I am looking at the Samsung Smart Tags. Like the Apple Air tag and Tile they seem to rely on signals from other nearby Samsung phones to get the location if you are out of Bluetooth range. I would imagine there are lots of those in a airport or cruise terminal. Any comments or experiences with them? Any of them?

Can you order food to your cabin on embarkation day? Like lunch?

I have read where some people who requested early ticketing were charged a fee. Any truth to that?

When does EZAir get ticketed? Is it right after final payment?

I believe the medallions come about two weeks before your cruise so maybe next week.

Do different bars have different drinks? Which bar or bars would be best for fruity tropical cocktails? This is on the Sky Princess.

We are trying EZAir for the first time. I booked EZAir back in June for a February flight. The price was good and I wanted the flexibility since with all the COVID protocols still in place we weren't sure if the cruise would be a go for us. Yesterday I checked with the airline to see what the current prices are and was shocked to see that our same flights were now $910 more than what I had booked 5 months ago! Yikes! Final payment is due in 4 weeks. So far EZAir has worked out great for us.

Thank you all for the reassurance! We will have bags to check at FLL and was hoping to check them in curb side if there is no line out there. Otherwise we are in the Sky Priority group with Delta so hopefully that line will be open and move fast. Also I was mistaken about arrival time. It is 6:00 AM and not 7:00 AM so by all accounts here we will have plenty of time, even a cushion of time unless something really bad happens. I want to get the TSA PreCheck mostly because I HATE removing shoes and having to take electronics and liquids out!! I just might get it even if my husband does not. Then I will just have to sit down and wait for him on the other side (smile).

Bring it yes. Use it...maybe. First off you need a good internet connection with enough speed to stream. This is hit and miss. Secondly you need to be able to be able to attach it to the tv which can also be hit and miss. I'd say bring it and try it, but don't expect it to work as you would like. Maybe you will be lucky. Has anyone done this successfully?

I received a update to the Medallion app this morning for Android.

The passage takes many hours. You should go to different places to get a different perspective. Outside on the promenade deck while actually going through a lock is interesting. I'd try different places throughout the passage.
