"A large cruise ship owned by Celebrity Cruises appeared on the horizon of Key West’s Pier B Saturday morning. As it grew larger and larger to the view, so too did a crowd of protesters staged on the adjacent pier. A flotilla of fishing boats, led by local Capt. Will Benson, amassed in the water as well."
Pier B is privately owned, so if they want to let ships dock, they can, vote or no vote.

Me, too. And can't you close the doors and the A/C stays on even with the window open?
No. The window, not the doors, controls the a/c.

Is the Spa Cafe open to everyone, or just spa customers?
Everyone.

First-night discounts are usually available in the cruise planner prior to the cruise. Onboard discounts are much rarer than before COVID.

Depends what you want to do with your pre-cruise time and how much time you have. Early arrival the day before? I'd head to the coast and enjoy the beach. Late(r) arrival? Pick a place near the airport (assuming MCO, there are plenty), have a nice dinner, get a good night's sleep, and head to the port in the morning.

You'll need to get up to Port Everglades. 😉 Generally for one the advice is an Uber.

I can't speak to non-US ports. I would think it is the same as a B2B in US ports. You can't leave once you have returned back on board..
San Juan is a U.S. port.

You could always buy a SunPass and load money onto it and it's good in FL, GA and NC (or maybe it's SC?). Anyhow, the money never expires and it's not tied to your plate or your car or a rental, so there's no rule against lending it to a friend or family member to use as well.
You can use SunPass in a rental, but you have to tie the plate to the account.

The thermal area on Constellation has a heated bench, not individual loungers, so for me, it's a no. The T-pool in the Solarium is available at no charge.

Then go during non family hours.
Honestly, the place is empty during those 2 -3 hours, when most of you will be fighting for your share of the HH cocktails!
I realize the sacrifice is huge, but honestly, I'd rather watch my granddaughter have a little fun, than listen to chorus of old folks snoring or chatting on cell phones rather loudly.
People keep saying this. It's not empty. I'm there. 😬 Other adults are there. Not everyone keeps the same schedule, and I don't need HH drinks.

Sorry I'm confused on your comment. 'I almost never was able to go in the past.'
HH is still held from 5 to 7pm. So how has that changed for you?
When HH was held solely in the lounge, there was a dress code, including no flip flops.

What are books printed on paper?
Why not use your smart phone, tablet or lap top?
Because I don't want to. 😉 I read books, not screens.

SI’m here’s a twist…can we swap kids for adult? We have very well behaved 16 year olds who have eaten solo on a cruise while parents were busy (Disney)
.) Not a huge deal just want to know what to expect.
Swap them for adults how? I don't know what you're asking.

They do if you bother looking at the whole page. The fact that they have a box to select that states "Pay more for a refundable deposit" indicates that otherwise it is non-refundable. It's not their fault you choose to skip steps like insurance and dining preference.
He didn't book on the website!

You mean they used a TA who gave them wrong information? I don’t understand why people don’t confirm things before spending money.
I knew you'd still be mad. 😄

We booked the cruise through a travel agent and only received the invoice after we included a deposit. There was no warning that the deposit was non-refundable.
The forensic dissection of the website is interesting, but the OP didn't use it to book. See above.

I've always had the angst. And I reply to posts when the topic comes up.

Arrange to leave your bags at the hotel.
Sounds like there is no hotel; they arrive at the airport for a transfer to the port at 9:00 a.m.

I will shortly qualify for Elite, however my partner is quite a few points behind me due to myself accumulating extra power up points during and after covid, would my travelling cabin partner whom would be accompanying me in H/H also have access to the complimentary drinks ?
If your partner has the same address, you can bump him or her to your level but not your points as long as you share an address.
"If your account is linked to another member’s account through a spousal or partner relationship, both members will have access to the points and tier associated with the member with more Club Points."

You're arriving in Miami a little early; do you have plans for breakfast or a stop somewhere? Boarding probably won't be until 11 or later.

I've taken it from Fort Lauderdale to MCO, coming from Port Everglades.
Take an Uber to the station and enjoy the ride. It's painless.

Sigh. He was pointing out other frequently violated norms on the ship. BTW, noro isn't usually spread through coughing.
