  1. Hi @Oreo1340 Have you tried using the web-version of getting ocean -ready? There is a link beside the buttons on-line, in your personalizer, instead of going through the app. Through the web version you can get to Dine my Way. I make all my reservations there. I have also found that when you call the Princess line, and go through all the steps - e.g.having a booking already, booked with agent or PC directly, etc. choose - Get help making a dining reservation and choose OCEAN READY assistance. I have had mild success with this as well. Several times, the wait was not too long and on Monday, the wait was 20 minutes, and it took some explaining and holding, but I was able to get what I needed. Good Luck! Yes, you can also ask to speak with the DORO - Director of Restaurant Ops - through any staff member at the dining room. If it is Claudio Guiliani, you will be in luck! He is very thorough as the Director. The BEST. Bon Voyage!!
  2. A - MA-zing! Thanks for sharing the pics AND all the information. Ride of a lifetime, for sure.
  3. Glad you found it to our liking. Thanks for playing along. I'm Donna - so nice to follow you on this thread. I'll back off now. Have fun!
  4. @Stealthdog Be sure to watch for the photographers while you are out on deck in GB and Hubbard. They will take shots for you, with glaciers in the background. They are more than happy to oblige. They even have times that they hang out around the seawalk; usually posted in the patters (daily events page) I got a few photos there as well. Why not?
  5. Happy Birthday to Eric! I feel that we are already on a first name basis...hope that's ok with you. @Stealthdog
  6. @Stealthdog Great reporting from Ketchikan! So glad to hear that the weather yesterday was good for walking around the town and trails. You selected the donut flavours that I am also interested in. I will definitey get there next time. Here's my two cents worth for today - have you found the monkey bread at the IC in the mornings yet? It's a soft, pull-apart version of a cinnamon roll. I missed it last month, but last year on Royal P, they had it every morning! Hope you like it, if you ask for it on the right day! They don't have it in the glass cases. It is usually on large cookie sheets, behind the servers.
  7. Enjoy the day in Ketchikan! @Stealthdog You are docked at the far end from town and will have a bit of a walk to get to the main area of town, heading to the right as you exit the ship.. Looks like the clouds should lift for you as the day progresses. Fingers crossed! Last year, there was a fancy donut shop across the street and a nice T-shirt store called Woodlands where they sell clothing with locally designed logs and such. We were docked at the other port (in town) last time, so I didn't get back to those two places this year. I did wear my local tee-shirt while in town though! Jellyfish donuts in the blue building, I just checked... Have fun.
  8. Here's the calamari - in case the previous file couldn't be opened. Sorry.
  9. @StealthdogI hope the Crown Grill was a positive experience for you. I think that what you ordered for your dinner will make all the difference! I did not eat at Crown last month, but have eaten there many times on other ships. If you had the sea bass and the Black and Blue onion soup, I'm sure you would be happy. If you ordered steak or lamb chops, it will be more unpredictable, but maybe enjoyable. I hope that your meals met with your expectations, or exceeded them! When you have time, if you could take a picture of the senior staff board, that would be great, and appreciated. I believe it can be found on deck 7, forward from the photo gallery... Specifically, I am wondering if you still have the same DORO (Director of Restaurant Operations) that was onboard in May. I won't name him, the photo will tell me what I need to know. TIA - I am looking forward to your next instalments. Thank you for taking the time. I am also interested in hearing about your experiences as I am already booked to sail again on Majestic again soon... Thanks so much!
  10. Sorry! I messed up the last entry. Don't think my pics were loaded successfully. One last try. Calamari appetizer and Chocolate trio for dessert. Fingers crossed. calamari.heic dessert.heic
  11. Enjoy Everything! If you drink specialty coffees, be sure to go to the Princess Live bar on deck 7. Best kept secret. Never had a line-up in the mornings when I went there. After getting my fresh juices at the Wakeview Bar first! I'm glad that you found these back there. Also a nice quiet area. If you know, you know! Well done! dessert.heic
  12. Not meaning to sabotage your thread. Just wanted to share these with you, prior to your dinner on Thursday. Enjoy! @Stealthdog
  13. Some pics of the food at The Catch - mussels and the calamari, both appetizers. Pardon my lack of technical skills ...I get by; not an expert with technology, sorry. calamari.heic
  14. Here are a few more pics from that fabulous dinner at The Catch- really delectable delights. Calamari appetizer, chocolate trio of desserts. The former one, not special, not even close to this one below, from The Catch. calamari.heiccalamari.heic dessert.heic Enjoy! Zero calories here on CC
  15. Here are some sample dishes from May 5, 2023 on Majestic. It was basically the first night of the official opening. Photos show three of the appetizers, one dessert. No main course pics, sorry. Group of five for dinner. Pals from university, back in the day...first cruise ever for two members of the group. We were having such an enjoyable time with our reunion among friends, I know that I enjoyed the company, the conversation, the wine and most of the food. Don't ask me for details of the food though. We enjoyed the setting, seated by the window, so much - we booked a second dinner there for the last night of the cruise. Enjoyed the second dinner as much as the first.
  16. @Fishbone LOVE your reporting and pics. Thanks for taking the time. So nice to see that you and your family are exploring so much in AK. TIP- try wearing a toque, and gloves to guard your inner warmth. Adding a fashion scarf around your neck also helps. The bitter wind in AK is really cold! Last month when I was there, I purchased a fleece hat ( made in Canada- and I'm from Vancouver! ) with a native design. Kept me cozy enough through that wind in Icy Strait, GB and Hubbard viewing. Carry on! Have fun.
  17. Not sure if my toast was sent in that previous post- Cheers! You made it to the Allegro dining room, well done!
  18. @Stealthdog Great reporting so far. Can't wait to read about your cruise. Bon voyage! Good luck at Canada Place today. May your lines move quickly through the ups and downs of the terminal. The process is ...what it is. We will be able to discern how your experience goes, if you make it into the dining room for the infamous embarkation lunch. Alfredos could be an option as well. Good luck!
  19. @ldtrHollywood Conservatory did not appear to have any restrictions for children when I was on the Majestic in May. I found the pool area hot and stuffy as well. I walked all the way forward once. I like having the sanctuary placement there instead, like on the Royal Princess. As much as it is a decent indoor space for glacier viewing and such, I preferred to be outside.
  20. @Nicole&Pete Coffee and Cones offers free soft serve AND specialty coffees. I haven't gone there myself...but I did see the menu on the PC website. On Majestic, specialty coffees are available at IC and on deck 7 at the Princess Live cafe. Free coffee - not brewed- can be found at the buffet and in the MDR Smoothies were available up to noon at the Wakeview bar. Go early! On Crown, they tell me juices can be found at Coffee and Cones. Hope this helps you. Bon Voyage!
  21. @Nelsj099 Lovely reporting and photos. Thank you for spending the time to share your trip with us. I'll be on Crown in August. Have you been getting any coffees at Coffee and Cones on Lido deck? I just happened to check out a menu that is on-line on the PC website. It is showing ice-cream sandwiches made with various flavours of cookies and ice cream I have never seen that before . They also show a variety of frappes which are new to me as well. If you find these options, please let me know what you think. Xie Xie!
  22. You have several choices for mocktails aND the juices. Drinks included up to 15$. Try! Enjoy, cheers!
