  1. Wonderful pics! @dhanakornYou covered the best bites in the city. Visually satisfying, great photo journal of your time in my home town.
  2. Sabatini for breakfast is for guests in suites ONLY.
  3. Had a hairdryer on Royal. Top drawer of the desk. May 2
  4. Noticed that our room steward and our friends' steward were polar opposites in their approach! Theirs didn't leave them alone for the whole cruise; ours had to be tracked down every single time we needed anything. I'm talking about toilet paper, soap, towels. We were only looking for the basics! When found, he fulfilled our requests. Friends' steward anticipated their every need! Inconsistencies. Our steward completed the tasks adequately...just noticeably not around...we survived. Still enjoyed the cruise!
  5. @cruzin4usThank you! Can't wait to try it out your way. I'm just off the Royal P.
  6. @cruzin4usI'd like to know where your pocket organizer is hanging from. I often place mine on the bathroom door, but your location looks better! I use the magnet hooks and organizer as well. Great help for keeping things in view. Thanks! Ohhh - I think I see now - you have used your magnet hooks on the ceiling - awesome! And thanks!
  7. @mrsskyhookYES! oops. I have read so many threads, I didn't give the credit to the OP. mrsskyhook - THANK YOU for taking time to post the live thread. Sorry, I erred. Thank you to both posters.
  8. @karatemom2Thank you for your postscript. I was onboard this sailing and enjoyed reading your detailed report. Couldn't agree with you more. It was a wonderful cruise. First return-to-sail for the Royal Princess and I was thrilled to be on board. Twelve days of "almost" normal cruising...so I completely understand how you let down your guard, and your mask, on a few occasions. Stay positive! It is most becoming. Enjoy your next adventure - in good health.
  9. So did we! For a first sailing, return-to-cruise, it was great! Slight hiccups were addressed as we went along. We reported a few things, and team members on board did their utmost to help. We met so many crew members that showed up with smiles and grace - so grateful to have contact with passengers that were thrilled to be on board again. As my first return to sail, it was great! Thank you for your review, posted separately. @karatemom2 Thanks to @lksfor posting the live-from, who shared the vacation experience in real time- to benefit others and I hope people reading realize how much time and effort it takes to "post" live! With spotty internet and medallion issues, it isn't always straight-forward. However, we were back on board, cruising because we like it, so we make the best of it; all things considered. I enjoyed myself on board, and may send out some comments now, from home. Don't you wish we could meet at Crooners with the gang tonight?
  10. @pkt1976I agree! When something goes wrong, or even sideways, the ship must be informed. That way, the issues can be addressed and corrected. We did that on the Royal after a disappointing dinner in the Crown on night one, first night on the return-to-sail May 2nd. I found the Director of Restaurant Ops, early the next morning to "chat". Claudio handled the situation most graciously and satisfactorily. The rest of the cruise was wonderful - for a first return sailing. Not meaning to hijack your thread...but our sailing had 1600 passengers and I was thrilled with the reduced number of guests. Many kinks and challenges had to be worked out. Staff, as you noted, were working through the glitches as best as they could. All crew members smiling and helping guests in every way possible. Enjoyed my first cruise back...with Kevin!
