  1. Thank you so much! That makes a lot of sense 🙂
  2. Are they on the Vista too since they're the same class?
  3. Leaving for our cruise on Saturday, and we have a check-in time of 11:00-11:30 with boarding group C03. I know it's platinum/diamond/suites/weddings and then FTTF, but I'm wondering if that's what C03 entails or if we can get on sooner. I just don't want to be standing around when we could already be on the ship! The last 2 cruises we've checked in and walked right on which was nice. I know that's not necessarily what might happen this time. Thanks if anyone has any insight!
  4. MaxKart rentals and yes, we really liked them.
  5. I have a small crossbody bag that has credit card slots and plenty of room for a phone when I don't have pockets big enough (which is rare since I search for pocketed clothes, but you know how that goes). I can't stand anything around my neck, so no lanyard for me.
  6. I love Your Time Dining on Carnival compared to Royal. You just have to go on the Hub app and put in that you're ready to eat. It'll let you know how long you have to wait, but you can wait anywhere. Elegant night is busy, but again, you can wait anywhere. When I found out what Royal did for Anytime dining I made sure we had early dining since I didn't want to have to try to make reservations ahead of time. Sometimes they have specials in the spa on the first day, but you will probably get some sort of deal in your email before that. We rented a golf cart in Grand Turk and just buzzed around the island and saw some Donkeys and such. Amber Cove there's a pool right by the port, but we did get an excursion so we could go to the Amber museum. We don't drink much either, but I did get a bunch of hot chocolate to bring home. Bolt can be reserved once on board on the Hub app The cabanas should be able to book ahead of time-they were when we went on Mardi Gras, but i don't remember much about them since we weren't interested. Faster to the Fun is like the key with getting on and off of the ship, but no special lunch or wifi or anything like that, Enjoy! I haven't been on Celebration, but LOVED Mardi Gras!
  7. Awesome! Thank you all 🙂
  8. We're going to be hitting gold on our cruise next month on the second to last day of the cruise. I've read that that means we "should" be gold starting on the first day of the cruise and our S&S card would be gold. Is that right or did I misread something-I'm very good at that. I know it's not fancy like platinum or diamond, but I'm curious (and I mean free drink on the last night woot). Thanks 🙂
  9. A mid-range non-alcoholic package. I don't drink a lot of alcohol, but I do like mocktails and my husband likes the nicer coffees. I'd absolutely buy into that. Also, the ability to open up my door with the app or something like that. I love that when I stay at certain hotels.

We had a great time! Totally forgot to give a review, but our tour guide Sendy was so friendly and knowledgeable about the island. Got to eat at a local restaurant that was right next to where people were cliff jumping-that was cool to watch. We got to swim with turtles and see a lot of the island. We ended up really enjoying the tour.
  11. Only thing he’s really said that I’ve personally heard is that it’s wonderful that she was rescued and that the crew was awesome with the recovery. Which she was super lucky!!
  12. I’m just telling you what I heard. There are about 3 or 4 different rumors. All of them have mentioned deck 10 though. So I’m guessing that part is part of the truth no matter what it is.
  13. I heard 3 different rumors standing at the rail watching us dock. Who knows if we’ll ever hear the actual truth.
  14. I’m on the ship now, and people are saying she was taking a photo while sitting on a railing and fell. I’ve also heard she was wearing a life jacket. it was pretty surreal.
  15. Yeah they're basically saying that if you have 2 staterooms, the 2nd stateroom can't be by themselves in the picture for you to be able to purchase. Like if you're there, and they're there? No problem. It's just so people don't get 100 photos and 5 staterooms can utilize the package. Also OP, the semi-colons are important: generic photos of the ship, generic photos of characters, generic photos of ports of call. So you take a pic at the port? Included. Random pic of the port? not included.
  16. I'm not British, but I take my own tea bags. We had the Cheers! package and got the "specialty" tea on our first Mardi Gras cruise, but this last time, and our other Carnival cruise we haven't. I've spoiled myself on good tea (and I have an electric kettle and get offended when people use the microwave lol) and I'll gladly take what I need to satisfy my morning tea/soda addiction! To be fair, my best friend and his family was/are British and they would judge me 😉
  17. I received our email last week for The Key and it said 11:30. Our check-in time is 1030-1100 so if we get on board earlier, yay! If you have a later time, then you should be able to check in then. It suggests boarding by 12 when I booked it so you could enjoy the lunch in the MDR.

UPDATE: I've received the response, and I'm very excited for this excursion. Since no one seems to have used them before, I hope to have a positive review when we come back in July.
  19. They fit. Can't put anything else in there, but 24 cans fit.
  20. Not true. We have a 12x12x12 soft side cooler that fits on top of our rolling carry-ons. We usually empty the boxes and put them straight in there. Considering some people bring on a variety of drinks...
  21. This definitely confirms that I'm going to be rolled off of the ship the last morning lol. This helps-I seriously am considering just getting all the apps and sharing an entree with mom. Luckily I'm not a huge dessert person, so if I can't handle one, it won't be missed hahah

I booked a private tour with them months ago, and had a hard time getting a response back from them about some questions I had. Finally I called through WhatsApp and got ahold of someone who said I'd have an email that night. Turned out that it was going to be the night after. On the booking, it says 11 am for the tour to begin, but their email said 9 am and to be at the meeting point at 8:45. Well, our ship isn't going to be there until around 11, so I responded and asked for confirmation. Nothing. It's been 2 weeks, and I understand island time, but I've called and texted through WhatsApp again. Nothing. They have the same tour now listed at $600 more than we paid, and I'm wondering if they're ignoring us because we didn't pay as much (doubtful)? The questions are: has anyone used Samurai, and are they worth all of this hassle? Our cruise is in less than a month, and I went ahead and booked a non private excursion because I didn't want to miss out. Even if you haven't-what would you do at this point? Call it quits, get the refund (I hope) and just go with the other tour? I'm bummed, but I don't like paying $$$ and not getting SOME sort of answer.
  23. I could probably make a meal on JUST apps there lol. Thanks for the information! The chances of us ordering that much food is slim, but I'm glad for more than one appetizer 🙂
  24. I’m curious as to much how you’re allowed to order. I’m not planning on going crazy, but I’m hoping my mom and I can order the garlic bread and then also have an appetizer each. Then I’m assuming one pasta or main, one side and a dessert. Am I close? Lol TIA!
