  1. Yes I will do. I imagine the medical screening will be different for Worldwide over Europe.
  2. We have done the transatlantic, both Caribbean and a US trip. I wouldn't do one again. I like port intensive cruises, so 6 days at sea I find boring.
  3. Still got Gib on our 19 nighter. Wonder if it will change.
  4. Interestingly, I have just done another quote with a company I did yesterday who quoted £730 for both of us. I did it without the medical bits. The quote was £621, so that means they only raise it by £110 for the conditions. Nationwide is beginning to sound a lot better!
  5. So the Age extension covers both people, as we are both over 70. Don't think I would bother with the cruise cover. It's the medical extensions I need to find out about. So far, it would cost £156 for the Flexplus account (£13 per month) plus £65 for age, So that's £221.00. I will call them tomorrow and ask.
  6. I am going to give the Nationwide a call tomorrow and see what the age and medical extensions would be. We are current account holders and it may just be worth upgrading the account.
  7. I now have to declare a hip replacement as I fell and broke it. And diverticular disease!! My husband has BP and atrial fibrillation.
  8. We are Caribbean and I have never been given 12 noon. Usually 1330.
  9. Just the same if you are able bodied. Trip to Taormina from port with P&O £59. Take the train and then a bus for the last 5 minutes 8 Euros!! Do the research and save a fortune.
  10. I have spent some time doing quotes for both of us for an annual policy for Europe. The comparison sites gave me the worst prices. Over £1100 for the year. We are 76 and 84 with a couple of conditions each. The best was Free Spirit at £700 and Holiday Extras at £800. Staysure wanted ov er £1100. Just awful prices. Just did Moneysupermarket quote - £3 Grand!!!!!!!!
  11. Me too Avril, although my wonderful friend of 86 has just died, so got nobody to call me a young pup any more.
  12. Another thing to do in Malaga, is the Motor and Couture Museum. Absolutely marvellous. https://www.museoautomovilmalaga.com/es/
  13. Although Gib doesn't have much to interest us, we like the walk into town and guy gin or whisky at ridiculously low prices. However, agree Malaga is a lovely town and we have found lots of things to do there.
  14. Just been to tesco and girl on the till was surprised that not only did I get the Clubcard discount, I got 25% off the 6 bottles as well!
  15. Yes, looking at the itinerary, it is now Malaga followed by Lisbon.
  16. absolutely agree! They will use any dodge. how can a broken leg be anything to do with a heart attack.
  17. I would be very wary of excluding a condition. These companies will do their utmost to blame anything that happens on one of the excluded conditions.
  18. yes, I would have thought the train would be a much better option.
  19. Ah, now you have explained something. I wondered why the FO cruise I was looking at did not appear in that list. Apologies all.
  20. Yes they do. Try here. Bolette sails from southampton and you can book https://www.cruiseparking.co.uk/Order/Create
