  1. https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/india/entry-requirements UK passport-holders need a Visa for entry to India. Anyone tried Mastercard? 😜
  2. Booking on-line avoids the tiresome queue on board. Also, you may find some tours fully-subscribed if you leave it too late.
  3. Try the app Train Timetable Italy. There are frequent and low-cost reliable trains from Bologna Centrale to Ravenna. Taxi to and from stations. Simples.
  4. I cannot vouch for them. I have future bookings via their system, but no experience.
  5. You ask for offers, and accept the one that suits you best. No commitment until you confirm acceptance. €200 is high
  6. If nothing else, the app might give an idea of what to expect, and may serve as a fallback if the hotel is either unable to help, or finds a much more expensive service.
  7. Try the GetTransfer app. Not necessarily an inexpensive transfer, but a useful tool to start your search. Unfortunately at such short notice, you might find options limited. If you are at airport hotel, they may be able to assist you in your quest.

  9. Depends what you mean by destination. AFAIK Mobile Passport only works at certain US airports. I have no familiarity with Airside, but presume it is an app.
  10. As a resident of Italy, I never order Pizza anywhere else. The ingredients elsewhere are never the same!
  11. In the same location on each ship. Deck 7.
  12. Not perfect though. A special, expensive (albeit casual) shirt of mine came back from laundry with a tear. Then a prolonged series of defensive responses from Azamara. The usual mealy-mouthed stuff: tear already existed, we can't guarantee etc. etc. Maybe I expected too much, but we added a note, and Azamara did not mention any damage prior to laundering. I'd advise you not to put expensive or cherished items in your laundry bag.
  13. Never seen 'milestone' as a verb before! Not sure I understand...
  14. No-one could give you a definitive answer. Only you know what you consider to be essential. Work outwards from there? You probably don't need your gownless evening straps, or snow boots, or winter gloves. I'm being facetious, of course, but there are too many variables here.
  15. I don't possess a tie or a suit. Azamara dress code is virtually non-existent. Weatmr clothes in which you feel comfortable. (Maybe avoid swimsuits and shorts for evening dining, though)
  16. I think that, from the content of a parallel thread (2 tests for Athens or some such), Greece is the exception in not accepting PCR tests taken more than 1 day before embarkation.
  17. I get what you are saying: in effect they cancelled the cruise. But... they did not cancel it. If they had cancelled it, insurance would have covered non-refundable flights etc. In the past, when itineraries changed very significantly Azamara offered something. For example: when Cuba initially became available to Azamara. This time zilch.
  18. I am not cross with you! I am cross with Azamara for not making any offer of compensation. If I have offended you, I apologise unreservedly. We were booked for one of the 2022 Black Sea cruises which were hacked such that they bore only a notional similarity to the original. The uninsured loss to us was £1800 for non-refundable flights. There are many side issues (whether it was prudent to purchase non-refundable flights, or to book the cruise in the first place, and Azamara had really no choice in the matter etc.), but the fact remains: Azamara cost me a considerable sum of money, and not for the first time. They volunteered nothing.
  19. See post #56 in this thread...
  20. Seeing this makes me quite cross. When Azamara dramatically, significantly, horribly changed the itinerary for the expensive Black Sea cruise to a far, far inferior one, no offers of any form of compensation were made. In fact, some cruisers were charged to transfer the booking to an alternative cruise*. Admittedly, no change of embarkation or debarkation ports were involved. But, for some, the impact was significant. *see the current thread on significant changes of itinierary
  21. In a parallel thread* Host Jazzbeau posted a link to a group of pharmacies offering thus, service. * '2 tests for Athens' or something like that
  22. Forgive my ignorance, but like you, I prefer specifics. Am I right in assuming that you are making the suggestion to refer to the Cruise Air Forum because there are similarities between Cruise Air and Choice Air? Or is that too obvious?
  23. Please be so kind as to refer to where you saw this reference to a free antigen test, because it appears not to be certain that the test will be free. But, who knows, in the absence of feedback from the OP, he/she may not be embarking in Greece. Vague questions get vague answers...
  24. It depends on your country of embarkation.
