  1. But that is what a TA does. They can check availability! I suggest that you define your criteria and let a TA find solutions!

    New website.

I'd be interested to learn why you say this. Have you liaised with land-based staff direct? My view is that staff (irrespective of their location) have access to the same 'clean' system with a database-driven interface, but the problems lie with the integration of the web interface.
  3. Good point! Oops!
  4. I agree with you. Many years ago I worked in a managerial role for a hotel in a (then) small hotel chain. Our threshold for profitability was an average 70% occupancy. I also wonder why one would track prices after the full amount had been paid?
  5. Not an Azamara employee.
  6. Sorry. Too late, but thanks for the 'This is good'. Once posted, the questions/responses in the poll cannot be changed. I started posting a draft, but it was taking a long time, and the feedback was likely to trickle in, and, perhaps make the whole thing too cumbersome. So, I just 'went for it'. I did think about the Azamara/Seaware, but at the time I found that I wasn't able to structure a question that was 'simple' enough.
  7. With apologies I regret that my first attempt at a poll on this topic failed due to my lack of understanding of how the poll works. I have re-worked the poll in an effort to ensure that all questions can be answered. If you have already responded, please be so kind as to give this one a try, as the first version will be deleted!!
  8. I can only report what I was told on Journey in March. Of course, the staff on other ships may be less co-operative.

Wow! Another photo of a calm sea. I can see the Adriatic from where I live, and yes it's a millpond at present.

I'd never have thought of taking a photo of a flat sea! Who, or what, is 'GR', please? Of course, if you are not cruising for a while and you want to use the OBC (which you cannot see) for excursions etc. it may be too late (or not advisable) to wait until you are on board to get this corrected!
  11. Whilst on board in March I asked exactly this question of both of the cruise sales personnel, separately. I was told (by both sales agents) that, since I would be on the 'qualifying' cruise and would accumulate sufficient additional points during the cruise to pass the threshold, I would be able to book a future cruise during the 'qualifying' cruise and benefit from all the benefits (extra discount, free nights plus the benefits applicable for booking on-board). I was told that it would not be necessary to wait until I had disembarked the qualifying cruise.

Ms Cabezas posted the following in an email on (or about) 05 June: "We have made great progress in ensuring errors that occurred as we transferred bookings to the new system are eliminated. We expect any remaining stragglers to be fixed within the next 10 business days." As a matter of interest I wonder how many of you can see all your cruises; your loyalty points, OBC, and excursions. Are they 100% correct? Host Jazzbeau: is it possible to create a 'Poll' or similar withing the framework of CC? A poll might give us all a clearer idea of the 'progress' or lack thereof.
  13. We always take a suite, but only 'invest' in the indulgence package on cruises of >20 days.
  14. The indulgence package makes more sense if you are not in a suite, and/or have a low loyalty status. It also represents much better value on the longer cruises. For me 15 days would be the minimum, but the package is much better value for a 21-day cruise.
  15. I was on Pursuit Rio-Rio in December 2022. Whilst on board the crew advised us that the cruise immediately after, commencing 30 Dec 2022 was for 'swingers'. Since the departure date and location are identical (one year later) it seems very likely that this is a repeat charter, albeit on a different shop.

    April/May 2024 for me.

That doesn't seem to work for me. Tried in Firefox & Chrome in both android and Windows. Never mind... I don't have any more cruises booked in 2023.

    New website.

I received it. I thought I would take a look at Shore Excursions, but (for me) the link in the letter does not go to any Shore Excursions. All I get is a list of sailings for 2023, but cannot progress beyond that. The sailing dates themselves do not seem to connect to any sailing! Am I alone in this, or are others able to see actual excursions? If not, it beggars belief. Being Machiavellian: maybe Ms Cabezas isn't popular with her staff and they are deliberately trying to sabotage things!

Tried the Forgotten Password link. The Seaware website still doesn't acknowledge any future cruises (or anything about me, for that matter), but searching by booking ref, surname, and date produces fully-populated cruise info (except OBC).
