When was the last time you used Friend in France? I’ve sent two emails and haven’t gotten a response, so wasn’t sure if they are still in business?

That’s not too bad a rate compared to others I’ve seen. Still almost $1k for 7 of us. I found a transfer company that will go for 80 Euros per hour with a 7 passenger van, so likely will go that route.

Any suggestions for local tour companies?

Looking for tour recommendations from the cruise port in Marseille to Pont du Gard. I have found a couple on Viator and Tours by Locals, but with 7 people it is adding up (more than our other port tours 🙈).

Thank you for the reply. The transfer would be from the port of Livorno to the city of Florence. We are planning to do a cooking class in the late afternoon, so we would need a taxi that could take us back to the port around 8pm. I've only found shared transfers that leave at 3:45pm, so this doesn't work in our situation. I had read another post that said some taxi vans are available, but not sure if there are any possible providers to contact in advance.

What is the best way for 7 of us to get from the port of Livorno to Florence? I know there is a train from Livorno Centrale, but this might be a challenge as my mom has limited mobility. I’ve seen private transfers, but they seem astronomical considering I’m not looking for a tour and just a transfer. Are there 7 passenger taxis at the port or would we need to take 2 taxis? Any shared bus options? Our cruise docks overnight, so we aren’t looking to be back at the ship at a set time (actually plan to go back in the evening).

We are I nterested in Eze and possibly other medieval town tours from Villafranche (Nice) - does anyone have any recommendations for a tour company, tour guide, or taxi driver? Several tours that I’ve seen on Viator for example only spend 30-40 minutes there and do not visit other similar medieval towns. We can’t take a train as my mom has limited mobility and need a van that can hold a collapsible wheelchair or foldable scooter. (We are aware that Eze is not the best for limited mobility, but we want to see the town as love old towns and castles. Mom will hang out with one of us while the others explore.)

I just submitted a request on Sage Traveling and afterwards, it says they no longer provide rentals and forwarded the request to Special Needs Group. Just FYI for anyone looking for a mobility scooter in Europe.
