We cruise on Edge on 6th May and I was able to check in yesterday and upload pic and vaccination documents.  However can't choose a check in time yet, Celebrity say there is an issue that they are currently working on.

Hi @LoveChops- if your location is gateshead in the UK - what have you uploaded as proof of vaccination? the NHS covid pass thing is only valid for 1 month and i didnt want to upload that now as it wouldnt still be valid on our sail date of 3rd May - is there something else you have used???

    thanks a lot

  2. Thank you....I did wonder if thats what it meant but when you're looking at an excursion on a cruise that doesn't embark or disembark in settle then why bother saying its in transit only...as everyone booking it will be in transit surely?? Typical celebrity I guess 🙄  thanks for clarifying 👍

  3. just to update on this - i messaged the UK chat on Facebook simply saying that i didn't seem to be able to apply my FCCs and gave them the booking reference i wanted them applying to - had a response this morning apologising and saying that they have now been applied - checked my online account and the outstanding balance has been reduced so all good !

Cruises on Beyond do not qualify for CWC. That part is very clear. What's not so clear is if that excludes applying a CWC FCC to a Beyond sailing. Depending on how you interpret the policy that appears to be the case.

also - our FCCs havent arisen due to the CWC policy - they were issued due to Celebrity's Global Suspension and the Beyond issue seems only to apply to the CWC - which ours isnt....hmmm.....i sense a big argument coming up with them

oh no....i bet that is what it will be then - i did go through the FAQs for using FCC and couldnt see anything that said it couldnt be used on Beyond sailings so will definately be arguing with them if they say that. we only booked the cruise to use up the remaining FCCs we had got from all the cancelled cruises so will be annoyed if we cant use them

  6. Trying to apply an FCC with a use by date of 31st May 22 for sailings up to 31st December 22 - to our Beyond booking departing 4th December 2022 - and getting the message that says "  Your selected sailing date is not eligible for certificate redemption."

Do you think this is just a glitch in the system or might there be a reason I'm not aware of???

    Thanks

We recently completed a cruise, that consumed part of a FCC.  I believe that the remainder will now be issued in a new FCC.  I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this, and how long it will take to issue the remainder on a new FCC.  I'm also hoping this will be done automatically without contacting Celebrity.  Anybody have experience with a similar situation?  Thanks -Ray.

Celebrity now issue residual FCCs (change left as such) within a week or 2 of them being used rather than waiting until after the sailing. I know this because we have applied FCCs for more than the cost of our cruise twice now and both times we have received the remainder within 2 weeks of applying them...our sailings haven't happened yet. If I was you I would chase up yours.

Our room type is approx £1,100 cheaper in the current sale, however we’ve been told that as our sailing is June 2022 we’re not covered by best price guarantee and would need to cancel and rebook, losing our deposit, current reservations and extra OBC. Looking at other threads it seems that there is a way to just have the price adjusted on the final invoice. Just trying to understand before we go back to celebrity why our cruise may not be covered by the guarantee as I wasn’t aware there was a time limit. Can anyone shed any light?

hi - we missed out on a price drop as well - i asked our contact at celebrity to reduce the cost of our cruise on 15th May 2022 as price had dropped but she said it was outside the CWC timeline - i did check terms and she was correct unfortunately

I just finished the form today. Its asks if you have vaccine, if youhave tested positvive in past 14 days, if you have been around anyone who tested positive past 14 days, have you been internationally anywhere. Thats it

Thats not quite all....it also asks if you have had any of 3 symptoms in the last 14 days...not a yes/no covid question...and then asks if you have had a combination of 3 of any of amlong list of symptoms in the last 14 days...im guessing if you answer yes to any of those questions you may end up having to do further screening g before boarding...so its not just as simple as have you or anyone close to you had covid.

  10. our price dropped for our canary island cruise in october by £860 after final payment - i rang to ask if could upgrade to a mini suite and pay the additional 50 quid with it being such a large change, and she offered to just refund the price difference direct to credit card so took that instead  🙂 as per stokie - took around 7 -10 days to appear back on card !

From leaving the car at the triangle car park to us getting on board was about an hour.

They never asked to see our insurance cert.

Plus i ended up with 3 test results going to my phone so no trouble if you only have between you.

Did you do walk through testing after parking at Triangle?

I personally think in comparison the prices are very much the same as before . Infact we are paying the about the same for an 8 night in an RS as we were to pay for 7 nights in a CS to the fjords earlier this year and slightly less than we paid for a 7 night fjords in an RS in 2018. So all in all I recon these prices are very close to what I would expect.

Cant really compare 8 nights in the fjords pricing with 8 nights going up and down the west coast of England though 🤣

So far I don't know anyone in Scotland with a card of any sort.  14 in my direct family from all different areas in Scotland - all either got a letter or phone call to attend and on the day  no cards just a booklet re what to expect.

all my family and friends that have been vaccinated in England have received the same card as mentioned by tipsy - strange that Scotland arent doing the same..

I've posted this recently on another thread, but here's the text:

Can I use the Future Cruise Credit across multiple itineraries, or does it have to be used for a single booking?

Your Future Cruise Credit may be used across multiple sailings if there is a remaining balance after its initial use.  Any remaining funds on the FCC will continue to be available until you have used the entire value of the FCC or it expires, whichever occurs first.  A recent enhancement now allows multiple FCCs to be applied per guest within the same reservation.

If you still need a screen shot:
