jojo...I know this would actually cost you more not less but have you considered booking a CS or RS where there is a separate living area with a sofa bed? We have done this with our adult son and it has worked well (especially RS S class where there is an extra toilet and sink)....Privacy for everyone at night but a great shared space during the day and fabulous perks that are of significant value.
Alternatively if you are sailing M class and near to sailing date you could phone and see if they have any family veranda cabins they will release to a group of three (normally for 5)....Again this would offer two rooms and a big balcony much cheaper than a suite...
yes - we're sailing on millenium - i did look at suite but its like 11000 for 3 people......

I have seen this question before on these boards over the years. One thing that I wonder, is whose name and address and passport number would you use for the second (non-existent) passenger?
In answer to the original poster's question, contact an experienced travel agent and ask for their advice. They have seen all the ways passengers and Celebrity work around the rules.
Good luck!
Thank you.....the second passenger details wouldn't be an issue as I would just put my other offspring details in as the other passenger....and before anyone says it...no I cant just take that other offspring...😁

You may have missed OP's point. Evidently there is a promotion (possibly just in UK) with 2nd passenger 50% off.
While I've not seen the promotion, usually when I do see it, they raise the price just before the "sale" and then discount to the same price as it would be for tow regular fares.
No promotion at the moment but they usually have one at least once a year.....maybe they will raise the price just before.....they didnt the time we took advantage of it previously ...ended up cancelling...losing deposit...rebooking and still being £500 better off. I'll keep my eye out and then decide what to do...thanks again
-
Thanks...what's the difference between cancelling and "no show " ...do you just get to check in desk and then say they haven't come...rather than telling them before you get there? Thanks
-
I know its morally wrong - but would celebrity be aware if you were to book a cabin for 2 people, probably when the buy one get one half price offer was on- but then you cancel the other person after final payment - so in effect get a single traveller paying less than you would have to if you did it all open and honestly by paying the going rate for a single traveller?? Please dont slate me - just trying to find the cheapest way for my son to come with us - but have his own room (he's 27 )

We got back off reflection on 22nd and had the most amazing pistachio creme brulee in Tuscan grille.....didn't really like the sound of it but my lord it was amazing !!
-
oh no.......very disappointed - just assumed there would be the same restaurants....not too fussed about Tuscan grille 😞
never mind - will have to stay in the MDR and use my OBC for trips or internet package
thanks for the info

may be a silly question - but cant see them anywhere on the deck plans - does Millennium have any speciality restaurants other than Sushi on 5?
-
hi - i could never find a freephone number - but i do have a normal landline number that i use which may be included in your phone package so could be free - i use 01932 834300 - not sure if its open 24 hours though so might not be any good
-
think you can only access it if you are accessing from the uk. everytime i try and access the US website it takes me automatically to the UK one so assume the same works the other way round. its just celebritycruises.co.uk if you want to try

We had to upload a photo when doing online check in for our cruise on 12th April....even though we input passport details too

my mistake - i assumed that there would be some veranda cabins classed as 1a,1b,1c etc - but on constellation it doesn't look like there is those categories. so all the veranda rooms are class 2a,b, and c - which is why there were no cat 1's
sorry 🙂
-
just a quick question - i have looked at a cruise in 2020 which is best of india and sri lanka - but when i go to cabin choice, it says there are only 2a, b, and c available. surely they cant have sold out of all other cabin types this early on - i think it might even only just have been released. any idea why there would be only cabins of that category showing?
thank you :-)
-
I seem to think they were about $20 each...
-
euro 2016 was shown in the passport bar when we were on reflection :-)

Why is this post titled as "phone booking scam" ? I assumed someone must have called falsely claiming to be from celebrity and taken money fraudulently !! very misleading title....
-
Me neither. Certainly won' be able to wait till November/ December!!!
-
I asked via the website chat when I could expect to see some more 2020 cruises released and was told June .
-
i dont know how this works either - we have bought the six dinner package and had to choose time for the first night reservation made for us. I emailed and asked how/when i would find out which restaurant theyd booked us in and they said they havent actually booked us in one - its just to confirm we have the package????? told to go straight to dinner reservation desk when we board and sort it out. doesnt seem to make sense to me.......
-
thanks all for your thoughts and opinions on this....i think we have decided ( well I have...hubby doesnt have much say) that we are going to stay in the 1A cabin and book a dining package of 5 or 6 nights - still costs less than upgrading to aqua and will only leave 4 or 5 nights to eat in MDR - which we did actually love on the past 2 cruises. dont think we will use the persian garden much on a caribbean cruise - wont want to be stuck inside i dont think - so - gonna stick.. thanks again
-
trying to decide what is good value for upgrading to aqua class.
can currently get it for an additional £368 for 10 days. this is the total cost for 2 of us? is it worth it??
Currently in a 1a hump cabin
Opinions??
Cheers

I know I've seen it, but a Search did not lead me to it.
Does anyone have a list of the cocktails available (for Classic).
Not the alcohol, the cocktails......
Sometimes I am befuddled about what to order and I'd like to try something new or something I haven't tried in years.
hi
is this what you were looking for ? someone posted it when we were interested in knowing what you are....
Edge pricing finally starts to soften!

i looked on the celebrity US site with my vpn thing on - and the cruise we have booked for november 20 is loads more expensive on the US site than it is for us on the UK one 🙂
