  1. Yes. To the best of my recollection our itinerary from the start named the May Fair Hotel as the Concierge Suite pre-cruise hotel. Now, based on the updated itinerary with the addition of the Pre-Cruise land tour, it states we will be taken to the May Fair. But then, they always add the mystical phrase: 'Or Similar'! The only constant is 'Change'... Hopefully that won't be the case. I like what I see on the May Fair website over what we experienced at Grosvenor House. Looking forward to meeting you both. 2. During our one stay at Grosvenor House we were given an extremely small room with a bed almost unsuitable for two to sleep in. The location of the hotel was impressive though...
  3. The Sep 17 British Isles cruisers are scheduled to be accommodated at The Mayfair Hotel.
  4. Based on the fact that you're already reserved on Deck 10, the additional elevation to Decks 12 nor 14 would not be significantly different. The higher you go the more the arc of pitch and roll - or at least the motion of the arc. Good news is that usually the Caribbean is a rather smooth ride. There could be a difference in the sizes of Penthouse balconies. Check the Deck diagrams and if their is a suite with an extended balcony that would be a decision maker for me.
  5. I agree that the 'subtle' pressure is often felt to sign up for Wine Tasting Lunches or Special Dinners. The wine steward or butler who gets credit for the 'sale' earns some form of recognition - either monetary or honorary. Our problem [first world] was that we often had multiple 'worthy promoters' to consider supporting and worried about slighting others. Truly, if that's as bad as it gets. I'm ready to face that problem constantly...
  6. There in lies the urgency. If the repair yard says we can do the repair during "This week..." the next option might be months and a thousand of miles away.
  7. It most certainly does in conjunction with pre-cruise tours. If you are in a Concierge Suite or higher you will be credited back the value equivalent to one nights hotel room. As for the non-tour after cruise stay, consult your TA or Regent directly.
  8. FROM THE SAILSAFE PORTION OF THE REGENT FAQs If I am participating in a pre- or post-cruise Land Program organized by Regent Seven Seas Cruises, will Regent offer COVID-19 testing for the required pre-embarkation test requirements, as well as any country-specific test requirements needed to return home post-cruise?Yes, guests participating in any Regent Seven Seas Cruises pre-cruise or post-cruise land program will receive complementary testing for both the required pre-embarkation COVID-19 test as well as any country-specific test required to return home post-cruise. Further details will be shared in guest documentation.
  9. Aside from the 'no-cost' for laundering and pressing services [as well as shoe shining] and the quality of their work, I was really impressed with the presentation packaging of the items when returned. I'm still using some of the boxes, garment bags and such for storing some of my "Cruise Attire". And the Self Serve Laundry was still available when on Mariner earlier this year.
