That was the last place I Looked on Edge. I said thank goodness we now now. As Gerry @Northern Aurora said in message 382. The ship has been very transparent, but many of the guests just don't listen or have no technology skills and also don't listen. I am positive that the Required Safety Movie probably would have told us but I guess as frequent cruisers (no excuse) we don't really listen to it like most on an airplane. Reminder to self - if you want to survive - pay attention. One can only imagine that in a real emergency the chaos.

For 23 years we have sailed on my Birthday - I was born on Thanksgiving and always when the stars merged and Iain and our Work Financial Calendars were in Sync to get at least 15 days off. The stars only aligned 2x a year. Glad those days are over. I thank God that he didn't share the ambition of his boss - Janet Yellen. Love her and everytime we see her on tv I say she looks younger and younger and is still going strong.

@DaKahuna Got a bit of footage. Then user error. The sun was so warm my display dimmed and I thought I was shooting some GREAT footage. Only to find later the phone was set on Photo instead of Movie. Oh Geeze - I get a year older and there goes the memory. It was really great footage if I only recorded. The 5X Lens is worth the money of the camera.

I got up early to start getting stuff ready to quickly post. I pretty much do post production of all my photos. Iain the late sleeper actually gets up early on cruises for a 9:00 AM departure to Retreat for a light breakfast. In 23 years of cruising we have only eaten breakfast in the restaurant ONCE. We use to always eat in our room until Kelly Ann destroyed the ships with her Designs. EG no dining tables in Celebrity Suites. The Retreat really does have a nice Kelly Hot and Cold serving station. That was one of few positive design features of E-Class and Revolutionized ships. This is my daily Greek Yogurt Parfait and Almond Croissant

I slept terrible again last night - only got 3 1/2 hours so dragging a bit. Albeit I just had a 30 minute power nap and rejuvenated. Many of my followers know that we are generally very regimented and you could set up snipers an knock us off easy. When traveling with others we have to be flexible. Good Example - David who is usually referred to us a Trev (Trevor being his first name) or Willie (Last name Williams) As Jennie know, is very stubborn and wants to eat at 12;00 noon and 5PM. Hmmm. We are more like 1:00 PM Lunch and 8:00 PM dinner. We settled on Cocktails in Retreat at 7:00 PM and Dinner at 8:00

Thanks... Will be interesting. Many on a World Cruise Tread on Facebook were very verbal about problems in Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Into and Our of India. The crew really is doing the job the best they can but have no control. MANY passengers didn't have Visa's, Arrival Cards ETC and then were blaming the staff. The crew really need a hug.

@Northern Aurora Gerry - Please jump in often. The more the better. I honestly need all the help I can get. Good Example of something new I learned. You should know if this is new or whether I'm just and Airhead . Our friends dropped buy today and asked - WHERE'S THE LIFE JACKET? Being the regular Celebrity Cruiser I said in the closet. Went over to show them --- Nada- We looked through every closet, drawer and even under the bed to no avail. Nada The Eagle Eye Robert pointed the door - Gerry -- Is this new. I obviously didn't pay attention to e-muster.

Ok Enough of this - Yesterday was Embarkation Day. There were 2 ships in port and it was a completed mess. You first lined up Lines - The right most queue for Suits we were back about 40 and just stood because they said their was no more room upstairs. Finally we got cleared and went up escalators. Huge room with another long line - Good news is they had seats along the lines so could sit down. Also we were in AC. 45 minutes after we were at one of 2 podiums for Suites and they Took another picture, confirmed we were with Covid or Pregnant. Then you squeeze a little past 1 1/2 foot to another podium that checked your Visa's and documentation. Then you move into a roped off area for Suites - the normal coffee, pastries etc. They also had some seating around the edges but many had no seating. Finally up another escalator for Electronic Emigration. Again one a mess - They had about a dozen terminals = Slip Passport In - Check Mark and a gate opens. Next step camera takes picture and clears you and directed to put right thumb on scanner and you get your final check and a glass gate opens. I thought that wasn't bad but did take 1 1/4 hour. I didn't see Iain, David and Robert and thought they boarded. So aboard I went. Was met by our room attendant who said our room was completely setup. So started unpacking. 1/2 hour still no Iain -- I texted Robert and asked. He said David was rejected and in a back room. I asked where's Iain and all I got back - on an elevator - Scratching head figured they were big boys. About another hour and a half I hear the door open. He said about 1/2 the terminals were rejecting scanning passports. You then had to manually processed (David). Iain was also rejected but they couldn't do his manually so sent him back to step one. Unfortunately they put him the wrong elevator and he came out in baggage and then had to make how whole way back through the XRAy Machines and scanner. It took him 2 3/4 in total to get to the room. Here's a picture of RETREAT LOUNGE - Have to admit not quite as nice as Terminal 25. I was luck a this is my path to ship. Robert head bottom right at doc check. lest is Suite area Once through it is a little more relaxed in the Retreat lounge. The poor could with the lady in Red are in a Royal Suite at step one they pulled them out of the line and escorted - Didn't help much as they ended up boarding after me. All the people behind are still waiting to have doc's checked.
