I chuckled in the kitchen. On checkin they gave little bags with water and popcorn in them. I was reminded of changes hotels are going through. Lots of free coffee but the large bottles of water are $6

The flights were both early and had really friendly and attentive flight crew. I was particularly amused by one that reminded me about my seat belt before take off - "We have a really good pilot but I would recommend fastening you seat belt" Milwaukee has a beautiful airport terminal. Very well laid out and efficient. Our bags literally arrived within 10 minutes of landing. Lyft won the price war again and the cheapest rate had a 3 minute wait time. The driver arrived exactly at 3 minutes. We are staying at Residence Inn on Plankington Avenue. The hotel was about a 15 minute $21 Lyft ride away. The building looks very new and is located on the river. I was surprised to learn tat th property was originally built a Gimble's Department Store in 1900. I have fond memories of Gimbe's in Philadelphia as a child. The building has gone through a number of major renovations before becoming a Conference Center and Hotel.

At this time we are starting to feel like we have recently been separated from a long term marriage an first tiptoeing through the dating situations. We have looked at Crystal an are impressed.

We are in Denver and needed food. I remembered that Chase Sapphire Reserve includes Priority Pass as a perk. I fired it up and since there is no lounge they have designated restaurants. For the 2 of us we get $56 in credit on anything ordered. Covered our whole Lunch/Dinner We thought it best to grab a meal as we don’t arrive until after 9:00.

A perfect day to fly. The pilot pushed back 10 minutes early and we were airborne quickly. They are expecting a 30 minute early arrival time. T-Mobile not only offers free International Roaming but also gives free internet on United. Premier Section all middle seats are open and we have spacious Exit row seats.

Lots of legroom on Exit row and all the middle seats in Premier Sections are empty. The pilot pushed back 10 minutes early and was in the air shortly there after. BTW TMobile give free text and internet on United. I know some of you like to disconnect but I feel naked without connectivity.

Only took 5 minutes for a Lyft and 10 to airport Saturdays are really quiet and zipped through Pre Plane so s already here and boarding begins in 20 minutes

I chose the cheapest Lyft price with up to 15 minute wait. The driver arrived in 5. 10 minutes later we pulled to the curb at SJC Really quiet and at our gate in about 10 minutes.

I think I got the Red Suit Bag at Marshall's - It is incredible what it can hold. We have 2 suits, pants 14 shirts, undergarments and most of my electronics in it. The other bag was actually a freeby from Samsonite. I bought in an old Canvas Samsonite Suite bag to have the zipper replaced. They said they couldn't do it as the bag was so old. As I was leaving --- he said why don't you take this - brand new with labels still on it.

I'm sure we will NOT be taking the April 12 Coastal. We will be flying back to Sydney for the Sydney to Honolulu to Vancouver TP. I was hoping they would have the Mexican Riviera later as we really enjoyed. One day while in SF on the overnight we took the ferry to Tiberon. Wonderful day except due to Covid virtually nothing was open. Most restaurants were doing major remodels and torn up. Regardless we had a wonderful day.

I’m already checking Uber and Lyft. Lots of cars and currently looking like I will be using Lyft. We leave in one hour so I don’t expect any surge pricing.
