  1. They were there for my 3 cruises in May, July, and October. Not sure what to tell ya.
  2. That's the one thing I didn't try last time. Thanks for the reminder. Not sure when I'll fit room service into my busy eating schedule but I'll try. 🤣
  3. Good thing I'm 5'10" and skinny so I can handle the 10+ lbs. I gain on a 7-night cruise. 🙈
  4. We loved Sabor on Harmony last June! Even our family members who don't eat Mexican enjoyed certain items.
  5. Awesome, thanks! I'd eat the entire menu, so asking for others... is that a plain quesadilla I see? And out of curiosity, what are the dessert-looking items in cups. Flan?
  6. I didn't take your comments in any negative way and totally know what you mean. Enjoy your UDP splurge! Mason Jar looks very appealing to me despite reading mixed reviews. We have a similar restaurant created by celebrity chef Art Smith here at Disney that we love (not sure where you live in FL). Our Wonder cruise in June is a splurge (at least for my generous FIL who has gotten our family of 8 side-by-side GS's after he did the same thing last summer for the 1st time for his 50th anniversary, our 20th, and wife's sister's 15th). When he saw Wonder had an entire suite neighborhood he booked this one shortly after we got back. Most of the family prefers to eat in CK (which I have no issues with, it's definitely better than the MDR IMO) so I'll be making side trips to WJ, Loco Fresh, Park Cafe, etc. on my own unless my wife or niece feel like tagging along. Everyone actually seems to enjoy a quicker, casual lunch most days but I definitely eat more than 3X a day while cruising, lol. As an example, last family cruise my morning routine was to grab my cappuccino from the suite lounge and what I call the Park Cafe McMuffin (or a bagel) in the early AM before meeting the family for breakfast #2 in CK.
  7. True, I always forget to mention that. Thanks.
  8. Wonder shouldn't be all that different, sorry. To each his/her own. I have simple tastes and enjoy buffets. I don't carve roast beef or make paninis at home so I enjoy Park Cafe for lunch. It's a step up from throwing store bought lunch meat on bread to me. All that said, big fan of Playmakers as well. Even when cruising frugally, I'll happily pay $9 for their burger and garlic parm fries. It's the only thing anywhere on the ship I actually find to be underpriced, lol.
  9. Breakfast, I think. I haven't stepped foot in Johnny Rockets in forever, sorry. As someone who is not ashamed of how much I enjoy eating on cruises, largely at free venues, if you have any other questions, fire away.
  10. This is pretty standard on Oasis-class. Also, Johnny Rockets and Playmakers are not free. FWIW, between WJ and Park Cafe, you will have a lot of food options.
  11. Also bottled water and hard seltzer. And then of course there is a nightly open bar for 3 hours (5-8ish, depending on cruise/ship).
  12. We did this before. If you're up late you can sign up once it's past midnight.
  13. You probably want to use one of your free days and then use the discount for a "rest of cruise" package for the next 2 days. You can play with the math once onboard.
  14. I could have posted this about my wife and I, word-for-word. 🤣 My wife especially agrees with the darkness part; she occasionally takes a short afternoon nap. We affectionately call them caves.
  15. Enjoy the Beach Club lunch! FWIW, I really liked the coconut crusted lobster sandwich there. Steak was also excellent last May.
  16. This is definitely not uncommon when docking in Nassau, especially for those who cruise a lot.
  17. Thanks for the free food update. This will be my first time trying El Loco Fresh... lines around the corner??? 😲 I had more Sorrento's on Indy last Summer/Fall due to lack of other options than I've had in years, don't eat much when on Oasis-class but always wind up having it a few times.
  18. Thanks, hard to remember hurricane names when you live in Florida.
  19. One of our favorite excursions. We did it back in 2017 before a hurricane (forget the name) devastated St. Martin. Back then, lunch was served at a little hole in the wall looking bar on the beach. Sadly, we learned that it was completely blown away in the storm. Regardless, we'd take his tour again if we ever get back there.
  20. Thanks for the pics. Nice to see the ship but I was actually going to ask if you ever stopped by any of the free food venues since you are mostly eating in specialty restaurants... and you beat me to it! Keep the food pics coming, wherever they're from. In my experience, the beef on weck can vary in quality, but I always have a few. P.S. FWIW, we're not the suite set either, unless my generous FIL is treating the family. Last year was our first ever suite and this will be our 2nd. When we sail alone, we're very frugal.
  21. Ah, OK, so scratch the Oasis-class perks mentioned in this thread. Someone more knowledgeable than I will surely chime in to help you. I'm only familiar with Oasis class suite perks as we are not "suite people" unless my generous FIL is treating for a family cruise.
  22. GS on Oasis-class come with free internet for each person in the suite. What ship?
  23. I think you just did, lol, so thanks for sharing. We will be on a family cruise in 3 side-by-side GS's (courtesy of my generous FIL) in June. The rest of my family has vowed to rarely leave the suite area as they love CK and the suite sun deck, lol. To each his own. I enjoyed them on Harmony last summer, don't get me wrong, but I love to eat way too much on cruises and try to check out all the included food venues daily so I'll be venturing off to Park Cafe, WJ, El Loco Fresh, etc. in between scheduled family meals. I also can't handle lying in the sun... my skin tone choices are pale or red so I stick with pale. As an early riser, my family cruise routine (which is very different from when my wife and I are alone) usually involves grabbing breakfast #1 when Park Cafe opens at 6:30am to go with cappuccino from the SL before meeting them for breakfast #2 at CK. I'm very much looking forward to our suites being right next to the SL/CK. It's also not that far from some of the other food venues I mentioned. My wife will join me on occasion and my 13-year-old niece likes to try (or at least check out) random new foods so she tags alone sometimes. I'm not a big drinker and my wife barely drinks so we're usually content with our 8 D drinks per day when cruising alone. With the 11-11 SL beer/wine/hard seltzer and the nightly SL open bar on top of that, I'm going to have to watch myself. How do I not go grab a beer or seltzer heading back to the room to change or shower or chill when my cabin is literally SL-adjacent? 🤣
