  1. There hasn't been a mystery dinner in forever. As is often the case, Royal just hasn't removed it from the site. Entertainment usually opens early in the month prior to your cruise month but not necessarily on the 1st.
  2. I was afraid your comment about meals and getting drinks from your server might be confusing to the OP, that's all. Nothing incorrect about what you posted. Sorry if it came out wrong.
  3. Yep... and if you cruise with any regularity, you know what's coming in advance. My favorite example... I cruise almost exclusively out of PC and most are standard 7N cruises (either eastern or western with PDCC). For quite a while, these cruises have gone to CocoCay on day 2, so the first formal night is night 3 (sea day). I swear every single time someone posts that formal night will be night 2 (with the confidence you mentioned) b/c it commonly is... just not when you go to PDCC on day 2. Then it gets closer to the cruise and the app updates and people freak out b/c they made dinner plans based on the bad info.
  4. It's unlikely you'd get different times and equally unlikely if you showed up with slots 30 min apart that they would care. Short answer... I wouldn't sweat it.
  5. No, there's a bar with bartenders. They pour you a glass of wine like at any other bar. And don't worry about the post above, maybe they missed that you were asking about the 11-11 drinks.
  6. Everyone in your party will show up in the check-in section. You just go down the list. It will be pretty obvious when you see it. Each person will have a few sections under their name for different categories of info. You just need to go into the arrival time section for each person and choose a time.
  7. Because, as stated, many people want to click a few buttons and go to sleep shortly after midnight. If you want to fill everything in at that time, go for it. It's just personal preference.
  8. This is the first time I've read anything about things changing. Last time I checked in was in was September for a late October cruise and it was business as usual. Others at another popular blog forum reported grabbing their check-in time via the app as recently as 2 nights ago and doing the rest later.
  9. Oh, right, you're on Wonder with me, lol... sorry, I'm not all there at the moment. Yes, either of you can check-in and enter/edit yours and each other's info.
  10. Yep, that's it. Just make sure you choose a time for everyone in your party (unless you're solo obviously). You have to go person-by-person. Also, be aware that it often doesn't open exactly at midnight, so don't freak out, just keep checking. It could be 12:03 or 12:07. Coincidentally, I have a check-in tonight myself. Happy hunting!
  11. Yep... and I can't stand the ones "over there." You know I like helping people and answering questions when I can but the amount of bad info, clutter, noise, repetitive questions... it's just too much for me. I don't even have a FB account but I sign up for them with my wife's just for the heck of it. On the plus side, we did find a nice couple there to split a cab with when going to Nachi Cocom in Cozumel in October so for all that I hate about them, it saved me $10, woohoo! 🤣
  12. This is perfectly normal. The headliner replaced Tap Factory and just b/c you aren't counting adult comedy doesn't mean it's not a show. That's 6 shows on a 7N cruise plus music, game shows, etc. How much more entertainment does one need?
  13. As someone else who moved from the NE (Philly burbs) to Orlando a long time ago, surely you know the local definition of "cold", lol. Anything below 70 and the locals put on jackets. 😁 They're likely shivering this week while I'm enjoying the cool weather. I don't spend much time in the water at CocoCay unless it's to cool off when we sail in the summer but I thought the Oasis pool was fine in late October. It's obviously warmer in the summer but that's to be expected.
  14. I think the issue is your phrasing came off as if you were making an absolute statement about the value in general, not what you personally value.
  15. ...and the coffee machine (the biggest perk to me).
  16. That's an understatement. It's been like that for the past 2 sales.
  17. My assumption is the same 7N cruises she's currently doing until Star takes over... but that's just my assumption.
  18. Yep, that's us. We pop in to use the free $6 or $8 or whatever it is and usually leave with nothing. My wife actually won $80 with her free play last cruise, lol. It helped pay for a specialty dinner. Woohoo!
  19. Yep, it gets mixed reviews for just this reason... more dancing than diving. I prefer more diving myself but I thought it was fine. On the plus side, Wonder's ice show is my favorite of all that I've seen.
  20. Love the perks that come with Oasis class Sky Class... when someone else is paying. Also love my frugal commoner cruises. Both enjoyable to me in different ways.
  21. Haven't seen one during the day (maybe a long time ago, definitely not this one). I think I'd prefer night for multiple reasons (special effects look cooler, it's not hot and I mostly sail in spring/summer, etc.).
  22. It is (as you know) but it happens. Coincidentally, the day I have booked for Paradise Beach in July only has 2 ships in port that day.
  23. It will likely be there for the revenue inaugural (Wonder had a similar spread for its revenue inaugural) but that's it.
