  1. I believe they will fill them using their dynamic pricing, yes. They will drop prices if they have to but I feel pretty confident that they won't have to. They're not THAT crazy during non-peak times and weekend cruises are usually expensive. There used to be good deals on the M-F 4-nighers.
  2. Nothing will be. It will sail at 100% capacity though and make Royal tons of $ from the PDCC visits and other add-ons.
  3. It was business as usual on Wonder earlier this month.
  4. July 4th CP sale started today. You may or may not find something. I don't buy the DBP or UDP... or very much in general but these sales haven't resulted in any overly exciting savings for my future Wonder cruises when I glance at them. Internet goes from $20.99 to $19.99, individual dining doesn't change at all, DBP goes down like $6/day or so, etc. Mostly only looking at internet for my next cruise before we become D+ and start using our 4 free days/credit since my wife and I are OK sharing once account. Maybe it will be a couple bucks cheaper on Black Friday. Will also book a specialty meal or two.
  5. Same here. I have a Utopia B2B on hold for our spring break 2025 for what wasn't a great price but wasn't terrible. Factoring in TA group rates and perks for both, Wonder is $600-700 less for a 2 person interior. I want to check out Utopia, I love CocoCay, I enjoyed the last 3/4 B2B I did, and I will have been on Wonder 3-4 times by then... but even with all that I don't think I can pay that much more for a nearly identical ship. I'm thinking there may be certain off-season dates where Utopia would be cheaper or at least close but I'm not flexible enough to use them. We'll either try to sneak in an extra shorty or Utopia will have to wait.
  6. That's the inflated inaugural. To be fair, one shouldn't use that for most comparison purposes.
  7. Food is very good, especially the filet mignon and coconut crusted lobster sandwich (better than the plain lobster IMO). Pool is nice. Area is quiet. That said, I wouldn't pay hardly anything for it let alone the current astronomical prices b/c I'm frugal and I love the included food on the island. As mentioned, you'll get varying opinions of course.
  8. Or to get a good TA with group rates & perks on top of great service. Price drops would be low on my priority list given current pricing trends.
  9. No. I’m still figuring out when my TA sleeps b/c he responds to e-mails so quickly at all hours. This is exceptional, of course, but I would expect same day or at least next morning if you e-mailed at night from any good TA.
  10. Good thing we get there early. Tons of parking around 9:45-10am.
  11. I think it's possibly b/c Utopia has a bigger discount during off-season than Wonder (like your February example)? Wonder's prices don't vary a ton once you get out of Summer 2024. I didn't have my TA price Wonder for my wife's March 2025 spring break but Wonder would most definitely be cheaper. The Utopia B2B I have on hold with a group rate and OBC still isn't a great price but it's not terrible. I know Utopia would be cheaper during slower times if we were able to sail off-season.
  12. They will supposedly have more parking in place by the time Allure joins Wonder (and then, of course, Utopia) but I'm not sure of the specifics.
  13. I loved Wonder earlier this month and it is now my favorite Oasis class ship (been on them all except Symphony). That said, other than the new suite neighborhood layout (which obviously only applies if book suites) and Mason Jar (which we loved for brunch but that doesn't mean you would), no, you're not missing so much that it's worth paying a significant premium over the others if that's what you are finding price-wise, IMO. I will continue to sail her b/c PC is an hour drive for us and the convenience is worth a lot to me compared to having to drive to South Florida but that's a combo of happening to live outside Orlando and my personal valuation of the much shorter drive.
  14. It depends on the ships. I was there 3 times between last July and October on Indy along with Freedom (full ships in July for sure, less so in October) and lines were fine (at least at the snack shack closest to the main pool). Change one to Oasis class and it will obviously be more crowded but still don't think it would be a huge deal. I'd become concerned with 2 Oasis class ships being there or Icon,. Also, everything could change once the adult-only beach opens as I believe it is supposed to hold 2000 or so people so that could help alleviate some crowding.
  15. Not a clue, sorry. I'm sure someone will know and chime in.
  16. Playmakers alone is enough of a reason for me. We don't do a ton of specialty dining and while bar food isn't exactly "special" we do enjoy it there. Big fan of a couple of their signature drinks as well. Mariner has been amped so it has newer stuff like Playmakers, Bamboo Room, general improvements, etc. The only thing Adventure has over Mariner (and this is just personal preference) is the original Giovanni's, which we have always enjoyed, while Mariner has Jamie's, which holds little interest for us.
  17. Congrats on Diamond and the upcoming 25th anniversary! We just celebrated our 21st and will hit D+ after our next cruise. I'd love to do a longer cruise someday but I gain enough weight on 7-nighers, lol. We've also recently begun booking farther out and will likely have 4 on the books once I book a couple I have on hold (technically 5 but one is a 3/4 B2B). It's so much more fun to login to your account and see "you have 5 upcoming cruises" than 1 or 2.
  18. If you're only asking about the ships, I would choose Mariner and it's not even close. This poster was also comparing itineraries, but likely some useful info for you as well...
  19. Fortunately Wonder always docks at 7am and it's just 2 of us. I have a Utopia B2B on hold for spring break 2025 that will be there with another ship both times but I'll worry about it then. Glad the beach bed works for you. I'm too frugal to spend money for it. If we ever couldn't get our preferred spot, we'd adjust.
  20. Thanks, yeah, I did a quick search think I found an easy way to check just by looking at the celebrity site. You beat my edit. Not the end of the world if we're not there alone, just a little bonus. We're very skilled at getting off the ship ASAP and heading straight to our preferred spot.
  21. I didn't want to be right as I'll be sailing Wonder 3-4 times next year.
  22. Not everyday. Off the top of my head (due to several bookings), Wonder is there alone... a lot.
  23. I'd have no problem with it. Maybe I'd put it in a drawer or something but that would be more to make sure it doesn't accidentally get damaged (also unlikely). The locked suitcase idea is a good one.
