  1. Have not seen one of those in quite a while. Have seen Caribbean night and decade themed nights. And as mentioned, most don't even dress up but those who do seem to have fun doing it so if you like to, go for it, just don't feel obligated.
  2. Beer, Cider, Truly, anything you can get unopened is good for storing in your cooler (if yours is cold enough, which varies by ship). Something like a shot of baileys to put in your morning coffee works too.
  3. There is reserved seating but you still need reservations. The suite concierges can usually get you in but I find it easier to make my own & save asking them for assistance for when I truly need it.
  4. Dunno about advertising but I was given them immediately upon using a TA for the 1st time (from more than one TA). I’m definitely not a best customer. I wish I was, lol, it would mean I was cruising a lot more in nicer cabins.
  5. Some reservations go very quickly. If it’s important to you I would check every morning. You can still see virtually everything via the standby line or by making reservations once onboard (they hold a certain %).
  6. It was exactly 30 days for my June 4th Wonder cruise. Just keep checking.
  7. OK. Was just a bit confused. That example must have been unique then. Pretty sure my TA would have told me that I could have a balcony for the same price as the interior I asked for.
  8. @firefly333 Now even I'm confused and you know I've been learning all about this TA/group stuff, lol. What loyalty level makes balconies so much cheaper? D+? 340 pts?
  9. FWIW, going forward there will be fewer and fewer days with only one ship there.
  10. That's a subjective question. I've been there with 8000ish (Indy and Freedom) 3 separate times and had no problem sitting in our favorite spot by the Oasis pool. We're not partiers and we don't swim in human soup but where we sit isn't THAT far from the DJ, we go in the pool to cool off, we go get food multiple times from both Chill Grill and the nearest Snack Shack and don't find it too crowded for us. Not sure if you can determine if it's too crowded for your preferences unless you try it. Hope that helps.
  11. Symphony does not hold 9,000 GUESTS; that includes the crew. It's more like 6,500ish. In any case, an Oasis class with a tiny ship like Enchantment isn't that big of a deal at all. When 2 Oasis class ships are there (or Icon and something else), then it will be different. Also, the adult-only beach will be open long before your sailing, adding capacity to the island. Only you can determine how much peace and quiet is worth to you (along with the lunch and pool). At current prices, I personally don't think the Beach Club is even close to worth it.
  12. This won't help the OP, of course, but on new ships like Wonder, there's a WAP in every cabin so the signal is excellent. There shouldn't be any issues streaming no matter your location as long as everything is working properly. Big improvement from when I was in 3 different cabins on Indy last year and the signal varied from fine to poor.
  13. Both types routinely go for $3000+ now. OTW can be over $4000. It varies by ship(s) and dates but the prices are nuts now.
  14. If you enjoy using your balcony, get the balcony. You didn't mention a sail date but it can actually be quite warm in the summer. If it rains, it rains, nothing you can do about that.
  15. Definitely not. Perhaps the poster meant a day bed?
  16. That's our standard M.O. I tip for some D drinks, otherwise I don't spend a penny.
  17. Yes. My nieces have while in the 8-13 age range. It shouldn’t be a problem. There are a handful of mocktails listed under some bar menus somewhere in the app but they’re not frozen. For frozen, it will be daiquiris in several flavors (I know I’ve seen strawberry, mango, & tropical), pina coladas, miami vice, etc. People start threads asking for favorite mocktails every so often so you may find one by searching… or try googling. If they have the ingredients, they will make it. One hack that works well, especially for mocktails… bring a banana from WJ to a bar & ask them to add it to a virgin strawberry daiquiri. Makes it even more like a smoothie.
  18. LOL. Seriously? It was making noise the week of June 4th. Someone on the June 11th sailing must have asked for some WD-40.
  19. I've heard the TV's retract from the ceiling a bit more smoothly on Utopia. 🤣
  20. Nice upgrade for him! Hope the cruise is going well.
