  1. Glad you're having such a great 1st experience! Give Park Cafe a try for breakfast if you haven't (you can go to WJ right after of course). I enjoy their egg sandwiches and lox and bagels. Also, since you're obviously up early, Central Park is very peaceful very early in the morning.
  2. Use the app as suggested. That said, the pub on every ship that has one will generally have specialty beers, not just the basic beers at other bars.
  3. I’m aware, thanks. That was posted days ago in response to someone who said they made a reservation from the Schooner Bar & later clarified a crew member was in the area taking reservations.
  4. I think so. It was very crowded on Wonder. I just popped in for pre-made smoothies a few mornings & even the washy washy girl warned me that I may not find a seat. Fortunately I wasn’t looking for one. The secret spot on Wonder when I was aboard was El Loco Fresh. 🤫
  5. We saw it on Wonder last month just never bothered trying to use it.
  6. Go see the Loyalty Ambassador during the 1st half. They should be able to make sure you have D+ status for the 2nd half.
  7. You shouldn't have been (during Happy Hour or for any of the 11-11 drinks).
  8. Excellent last month. Every cabin on Wonder has it's own WAP so you get a much stronger signal in your cabin than on other ships.
  9. I think this makes a huge difference. We always sail in the summer (wife is a teacher but we have no kids) and don't mind it b/c we don't do any of those things. I've hypothesized it may even keep people OUT of places like the Solarium b/c, like you mentioned, adults are busy with their kids doing kid-friendly stuff. Trivia was also overcrowded on Wonder last month b/c they held much of it in the karoake bar (what used to be On-Air) which wasn't big enough. When it was held in the Schooner Bar it wasn't as bad.
  10. If you booked yourself, call RC. If you used a TA, ask them to do it.
  11. Yeah, Orlando to Fairbanks was fun to figure out. We had two very long travel days. Stopped in Minnesota on the way there and Chicago on way home from Vancouver (on a red eye). Got into Chicago around 5am and during the descent we thought we were hallucinating after an 18 day trip and very little sleep on the plane. We swore we heard meowing. Finally turned around and saw a girl behind us had a cat carrier, lol. He didn't make a sound the whole flight until then.
  12. Only been to Alaska once & did 10 days on land before sailing southbound on our own (with an outside company’s help). Highly recommend spending as much extra time on land as you can afford (budget & schedule wise).
  13. The suite concierge on Wonder randomly invited our family of 8 last month. It was indeed free. Neat experience.
  14. Could always tell DD your stomach is bothering you and take a very long "bathroom break" to make a phone call. I'm guessing she'll stay away. 🙈 That said, I doubt it would be cancelled without notification.
  15. Yep, that's our preferred pool spot. Good distance between the bar, snack shack, and Chill Grill. Good to hear he's doing well, lol. As a Florida resident, the tiny lizards don't register since we have them all over the place here. Trying to catch one when they get in the house is always fun.
  16. As someone who hates the sun (b/c the sun hates me), I love those benches. On a semi-related note, during one trip last year, a rather large lizard (I'll call it an iguana but I'm no expert) came out from the island and hung out close to the edge of the pool by one of the benches for hours. More wildlife on CocoCay than one may think between the lizards and wild chickens (insert snack shack sandwich joke here).
  17. FWIW, same experience for us. Could be any number of things... perception/tolerance of crowds, where one spends their time, etc. Maybe it's because we're used to sailing in the summer, mostly on full Oasis class ships with lots of kids (despite not having any of our own), but it doesn't really bother us.
  18. No surprise there. I just looked at Wonder since it was what I have open in my app (probably why you looked at Harmony as your next Oasis-class cruise in your signature).
  19. Personal preference. I personally couldn't care less about having a window but I wouldn't want to be down on deck 2. I'd rather be somewhere in between the pool deck and promenade as I avoid the elevator whenever possible and prefer to be closer to higher decks for places I frequent so it would be deck 8 for me.
  20. The suite lounge bar menu should be in the app (but most bars serve the same stuff with the exception of certain bars having specialty drinks and some bars like the pub having additional beer options). FWIW, I just looked at the Wonder suite lounge bar menu and both Angry Orchard and Strongbow are listed.
  21. On Oasis class (like Allure), yes. From 11-11... free beer, wine, CIDER, Truly, soda, bottled water, etc. I'm not a cider drinker but pretty sure they had both brands on Wonder last month. You can check bar menus in the app.
  22. The app should automatically update but you can add your cruise manually using the reservation # if it doesn't show up.
