  1. :ship:When I hit 90 days, I went online to complete the online booking information. I had completed it before the 180 day limit was changed to 90 days and all of the information I had already provided was still there. But, I was never given the option of selecting a check in time. I called Carnival this morning and was told Nobody on this cruise has been able to select a time. The representative was able to look at all the information for the people on this cruise, and right down the line, no one had a check in time selected. Is that the case, has anyone on the 12/1 Splendor cruise to Hawaii been able to select a check in time? I was told the error ticket she submitted might take until 9/6 to get resolved because it is a holiday weekend (of course it is, what timing).:ship:clear.png?emoji-ship-1866

  2. At the beginning of the cruise when they were doing the old style menu it was made when ordered. When they switched over to the new menu it appeared that they are pre-made, at least for most options. I ordered the BLT off the new menu and they still made it in front of me, which was good since the description doesn't list mayo being on it and I don't like condiments. It won't let me post the photo I took, but i'm sure if you google "new carnival deli menu" you'll find info on it. :)

Thank you for the information, I think I would have preferred the old menu, but I'm not familiar with it, so don't know for sure. I know there are some sandwiches that can't be premade, I hope.

  3. All of this makes me wonder, how polite are people about sharing their table when there is an empty seat or two. On another cruise line, people were Very polite and sharing, but I don't have experience with Carnival. Is it true as Badfinger stated above that seldom are every table in the Lido buffet occupied?

  4. I've only cruised twice before, but had an inside cabin on my last cruise. Traveling solo and having to pay full price for the cabin, an inside cabin is the only way I can cruise. I was a bit worried about being inside with no windows, but found the cabin large enough and used the TV for ambient light at night and to tell when the sun came up. And yes, I did use the cabin for sleep and showering. Why stay inside when you have that wonderful view outside on deck.

  5. I prefer early seating, just my choice. Late dining is too late for me and traveling solo, ATD just doesn't interest me. on my upcoming cruise I originall had ATD, but immediately changed my preference to Early and was able to get confirmed at that time. But isn't it great there are 3 choices that meets almost everyone's needs and desires?

  6. I cruised solo last year with another line and had a lot of fun. Was worried about going solo since I am more of an introvert. But I enjoyed it enough to book a cruise on Carnival to Hawaii in December. If I don't go solo, I don't go, and I enjoy cruising too much to not go on a cruise about every year.

  7. I bring my Yeti and they just fill that up with the whole can. I’ve never gotten a flat Coke.

Stupid question perhaps, but what size is your Yeti? a 30oz tumbler wouldn't be filled by 1 12oz can of coke, even with ice. would they provide a 2nd can to top off my tumbler?

  8. I am cruising solo and worried a bit about the sea days for my 12/1 Hawaii cruise, but I booked with Carnival because it is supposed to be the fun cruise line. I am relying on them to have a variety of fun things to do. Not that they have to keep me entertained all of the time, the cruise is what I make it and I am also there to relax and do nothing when I want.

  9. Just something about laying cash down on a craps table that makes the experience so much fun. And hopefully getting some good color when I cash out, meaning high dollar chips. Regardless, I always enjoy playing craps. There is a craps table in the casino, right????
