The public areas look awesome but I don't think they did anything to the cabins. All the staff is super nice and helpful. Our room steward is particularly awesome! And A/C works well.

So, none of the washing machines are working. Checked every floor. Hand washed in the sink and was going to dry but dryers weren't working eother. Yesterday they said they would be working today, but they aren't. In the laundry room one of the ladies who was in there said a bunch of the toilets weren't working in the cabins so all resources were being diverted to fixing that issue. I washed in the laundry room sink and hung to dry on my balcony because my sink isn't draining well and part of the faucet fell off when I turned it on. Clearly still working out some dry dock issues. Not complaining since my toilet works. Making the best of it. Pic of my solution and faucet. Also sent off clothes for washing.

Well, we bought several bottles of wine and 1 of liquor from the grocery store.

We have had to separate the children for the benefit of other guests. Also went looking for laundry rooms and met five other people doing the same. Now I have laundry buddies. 😆 Unfortunately, we have learned that they aren't starting laundry until tomorrow.

Yall...my kids are acting 🤪. They are super wound up. There are no remotes in the room so they can't watch tv or play video games yet. (We requested them so fx on the way.) And they haven't unlocked the doors between the cabins so I keep having to go over and scold them for being loud. I feel like I am going to have to buy the people in cabins around us bottles of wine to apologize. One thing working super well on this ship is the A/C. Feels great!!! Bed is comfy, too. Oh, and you can definitely bring wine and liquor on the ship in Europe. The balconies look clean. I think we have a new balcony door, too.

Omg. I am so glad it is perfume because my younger son just came in and said that my older son smelled it...even though I told them not to touch it.

Looks like someone from a previous sailing was nice enough to leave us some free lube and either gloves or socks. Actually, not sure if lube or cologne because it says for "Lovers" but in the event of the former, I decided to not touch it. Edit: False alarm! I googled and thank the good Lord above it is just perfume.

I was wrong the promenade beside the theater is still there.

Rooms look clean but still look the same.

The area by the alchemy looks super nice. Second pic is heroes bar.

They were on floor 2 or 3 by the stairs close to the lobby. But we went looking fir them again and now they are gone, I think. 😢

We also ran into Emeril but I didn't realize who he was until we walked away. Sigh.

Boarding was easy. Already got guy's. Ship looks great in common areas! Just dropped off bags at the room so don't know about that yet.

🤯 Wow. Super strange. Maybe the baggage crew was on strike along with security...only doing a "quiet" strike.

I don't think so. Flying through lhr to edi many times on BA, I have been on BA flights where they did have to check some passengers' carry ons because of lack of room in the overhead bins and it NEVER delayed the flight 2 hours. If it delayed it at all, it was 15-20 minutes. I think there was something else going on... Maybe they were already having the IT issues that caused 200 canceled flights over the next couple of days...

Before and after. Omg, food in this city is sooooo good!!! Only bad meal I have had was McDonald's. (Don't judge me. Younger son wanted to try Spain McDonald's.) Every single thing I have eaten (except McDs) has been 10 out of 10.

What I really want to know now is when we sat on the runway for two hours while they "loaded" the luggage, whose luggage did they load???
