  1. I just upgraded, via phone, from classic drink package to premium for an upcoming cruise (did it on Nov 26, 2021 for a Jan 2022 cruise).  We are Elite, so got the Elite discount.  For a 9-day cruise, it was $162.00 without gratuity ($81 each … $9.00 per day each);  with gratuity ended up being $194.40 for two ($97.20 each,  $10.80 per day each).  Hope this info helps.

We have never had the pleasure of staying in a suit, but have been invited to the helipad twice (once while departing Cartagena, Columbia … spectacular.)  Don’t know what we did to get so lucky, luck of the draw I guess.) It was a wonderful experience.

    Sorry, *suite.

Is the helipad area ever open to commoners or is it VIP only?

In know it is accessible on some of the RC ships.

  4. How long have recent FCCs certificates taken to receive?  We cancelled 2 cruises in mid-May.  One we elected to get a refund, the other FCC.  We received the refund within a few weeks, but are still awaiting the FCC certificate.  Just wondering if I should be worried.

I've sailed in concierge class a couple times in the past.  Does Aquaclass have a separate boarding area similar to concierge class?

We sailed Jan 2020, and there was a line for Concierge and Aqua.  When boarding, Suites were called first, then Concierge and shortly thereafter Aqua.  We had a 1200 boarding thime that no one paid attention to.  We were are the port early.

  6. Yes waiting on an FCC for several months.  Final payment on next cruise is beginning of Sept, I’ve been told they are working on it .  Hoping it is sorted out before final payment.

  7. I’ll cruise.  I’m with the individual “Choice”.  If you prefer not to be vaccinated and get sick, then that is your choice.  The unvaccinated take the chance of getting sick and being put off the ship, incurring all expenses associated.  Those vaccinated have very little to no chance of getting seriously ill from COVID.

  8. We are doing an Eastern Caribbean/Southern Caribbean B2B leaving 9 Jan 22 on the Equinox for a total of 21 days.  Been to all ports before, but will be so ready to get out of the cold.  We normally sail at the time, and should have been left on the Reflection for a B2B several days ago.

LOL--- Boarding--- Just walk on whenever you want to--- Nobody checks the cards. I learned that from a guy with a baseball cap sitting beside us in the waiting area--- ( was going to mention the logo on his cap , but, better not ).

This has been our experience also, with the exception of our last cruise, Jan 2020 on Reflection.  They actually boarded suites first, then Conceirge.  We were Aqua, and they check our boarding pass for timeframe.  We had 1100 so were goo to go, but they had others with later boarding times wait.

  10. We would choose Concierge for a better cabin location and foot stools on balcony (with Reno not sure if this is still a perk), but only if Aqua price is out of reach and Concierge price is only a bit over the Regular Veranda price.  Additional Captain’ Club points are nice also.  Next scheduled cruise is in Concierge.  Concierge was $400 more then Veranda, Aqua was $1200 more then Concierge.  Cabin location was the driving factor in our choice this time.
