    I am also disappointed to have missed all the the fun! However, up here in the frozen north we are totally beyond excited - we have been promised a (drum roll) TWO DAY HEATWAVE. 😎😎😎

    Eglesbrech - there was a Binns Department Store in Princes Street - I think it was where the west end Frasers was. Now a whisky place I think.

    It’s chilly here too in the west - I get very jealous of the north/south divide weather wise. Wish I was back on a cruise again!

    A couple of weeks ago we took the Hoho - although I think there was also a service bus. Taxis were also plentiful. Taormina is very pretty to stroll around.

    Lovely Graham - glad you had a nice time. I am catching up here sitting on my daughter’s balcony in Athens - arrived last night. The weather is lovely - around 26 degrees today so we had a nice lunch down at the sea. Just the dreaded test tomorrow before I join Azamara in Piraeus on Tuesday- fingers crossed!

    I agree (about the winner - don’t know if I’ve ever met a marine pilot)! I wish I’d put a bet on it because I had him earmarked as the winner from the very first episode.

    Yes - I too am in pre cruise mode, although not P and O this time. First trip since 2019 so super excited! I fly to Athens a week on Saturday and stay 3 nights with my daughter and son in law who live there (haven’t seen them for two and a half years either) and then join Azamara in Piraeus and sail to Barcelona.
